TRUMP’S TANTALIZING TOY – – – AMERICA ?

After all of Donald Trump’s success, is America itself the ultimate toy for him to play the games he’s good at?

Can one heal America without humility?

Can any of Trump’s supporters really know him?

Can anyone provide solid base for trusting Trump?

Do we hear any of Trump’s business associates vouch for his character?

I thank God for Trump saying what needs to be said—I just wish he would do the same.

For the first time in memory we have a primary stage filled with solid character candidates outspoken for life and faith and family and freedom.

I fear for America, and I pray that we do not go down the road again of throwing away the Godly statesmen our country desperately needs—and pick a wishy-washy leader without a moral compass.

What matters to God matters to America.

That doesn’t seem to matter to Donald Trump.

GUN CONTROL – – – WHAT’S NEXT ?

It is obvious that each new law for gun control does not reduce or prevent crimes committed by bad people with guns.

Likewise BHOB* knows that his recent executive orders will not stop criminals and terrorists from shooting people.

And, this is by design.

BHOB*’s intent is not to solve the problem of violence involving guns.

As soon as the next shooting makes the news, he will cry to add more restrictions to the Second Amendment.

And this incremental intrusion against our rights will continue until most Americans have no guns, and the tyranny is total.

Then there will be no hesitation to shoot out or burn out all resistance.

There will be no more standoffs—just annihilations.

PLEASE WRITE . . .

There is a true story of a man who had a tragic accident that took both his legs, one arm, and all but three fingers on the other arm.

What then?

What to do?

How to find something meaningful with life?

He finally decided he could write, with much difficulty.

He would write letters.

He wrote letters to prisons.

He had no record of what happened to his letters—if anybody even read them.

No one was allowed to answer his letters, but he didn’t even know that.

Sometimes he got discouraged.

Eventually he began to give up writing letters.

Finally one letter came, on prison stationery, from the security person in charge of screening mail coming into the prison.

“Please write on the most durable, expensive paper you can find.  Your letters are passed from prisoner to prisoner until the paper literally falls apart.”

What most Americans do not realize is the very effective strategy of BHOB* and company.

He breaks down his goals of America’s demise, into bits and pieces of freedom loss, while the people accept it, because each outcry and protest is shortlived, as another issue makes the news.

Americans have to move on with everyday life.

Americans can’t stop and lay down everything to stand for anything that is all-important.

Americans aren’t hurting enough yet.

Americans aren’t hurting enough yet, to turn to God.

Americans aren’t hurting enough yet, to repent.

Americans aren’t hurting enough yet, to fight for right.

Americans aren’t hurting enough yet, to be free.

Americans’ focus on finances and food is all-consuming, with nothing left to sacrifice for faith and freedom.

NEW YEAR—NEW DAY—WHAT DOES IT MATTER?

Does a new year make a difference?

Yes, indeed.

Just the fact that people notice New Year’s Day means something.

We all have a sense of urgency that there are important things we should take care of, and a new year seems to tell us we don’t have forever to do so.

We all know that “new” wears off—new car smell, new house, new love, new year, new year’s resolutions.

So be it.  But let us not let that stop us from setting goals, especially for those things that “make a difference in the parts that are for keeps.” (If you read awhile on this site, you will soon know what I mean by that by-line.)

Does a new day matter?

Yes, indeed.

Here is my suggestion for all of us:

Do whatever works for you about New Year’s Resolutions, but do make the following New Day Resolution.  (The best deal is, you get a new day every day, if you didn’t keep it today.)

Everybody can do this—EVERYBODY!

Five minutes a day—

First minute of the day—talk to Jesus, and give Him the day.  That’s it, just one minute, before anything else.

Next two minutes of the day—read something in your Bible.  That’s it, just two minutes.

Next two minutes of the day—write something in your Bible or next to your Bible, and date it—any thought, or something to pray about.  That’s it, just two minutes.

Five minutes a day—at the beginning of the day—that’s it.

UNCERTAINTY – – – SURE VS NOT SURE

New Year’s Eve 2015

Recently I wrote about the over-used word “absolutely” being replaced with “I don’t know.”

This article is not going to be very long.

I am not going to list the uncertainties in our world and in our lives.

They are here. They are real. They are many.

Drastic, dramatic changes in our daily lives coming soon is one of the greatest certainties in the next year.

So far, most of us in America are holding our breath and hoping we can continue with our daily lives a little longer, long enough to get a little more done, maybe get a lot more done, and get by.

The main reason people don’t talk openly and realistically about what is going to happen, is because Americans have no idea how to deal with what most of the world is experiencing.

If you speak out against the evil that is running our country in the ground, and talk about doing something to stop it, your life will be in danger.

If you talk about preparing to survive chaos when everyday life is blown back a century or more, it sounds right but does nothing to stop what’s coming.  When it gets to your door, it’s too late.

2016 election campaign coverage just keeps people busy, while no one covers the truth of what will likely happen before November.

The perils of repeating history from eighty years ago are here now.

The desperate cries for leadership out of this disaster seem to go unheard, if not unspoken.

God, what do You want me to do?

I’m sure I’m doing the right thing when I ask that question.
