SHOCKING – – – OR NUMBING

Eight months ago, I wrote this down without posting it.  Very interesting to read it again and post it now.

Brutality in Iraq is shocking our senses, and at the same time, numbing our senses, so that when the unthinkable happens to grow here, we don’t revolt.
