What if . . .
What if a preacher/teacher dropped the universal pattern of making a statement of doctrine/belief/teaching, followed by Bible verses to back it up ?
We’ve become so accustomed to this practice that we accept it and have come to expect it as the norm, the only way, because everybody does it that way.
This method, by it’s sequence, puts man’s word ahead of God’s Word ! ! !
Right ?
True ?
Good idea ?
It’s not that hard to recognize.
It’s not that hard to change.
It’s not that hard to just switch the sequence.
With everything you want to teach, IF it’s based on the Word of God (hmmm, maybe reread and underline that), IF it’s based on the Word of God, declare the Bible FIRST, then say what you have to say that the Bible tells us.
Try it.
Take the risk.
Test God.
Is there any way He could not honor that ?
Why not do it that way ?
CONDUIT OR CONTAINER

CONDUIT—something flows through, empties out the other end—the part inside the conduit is moving on—the only reason for a bigger conduit is to send more out the other end.
CONTAINER—something flows in only—something is taken out when needed, if needed—gas tank holds something to be used routinely by the one who put it in—a bigger container runs the risk of the contents getting unusable, going bad.

+ Gas tank—daily filling, daily using
+ Grasshopper—seasonally filling storage, seasonally emptying
+ In and out for known routines of life
+ Not for fear of unknowns

‘What ifs’ of life are not a concern for birds and flowers—we are way more valuable, so we should be as unconcerned as they, according to Jesus’ commands.
All the ‘buts’ and ‘fears’ of life (more in modern days) must not override Jesus’ words, “trust, don’t worry” and “take no thought”.
Is it possible to take His words, His commands, literally, or do we have to add (such is the plague of history, of Christians).

CONDUIT—How do we live to be a conduit for God’s blessings to flow through us to others in need, not stored up for ourselves ?
“Do good, be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for ourselves a good foundation for the time to come, that we may lay hold on eternal life.”
CONTAINER—How do we fall into danger of being a container to store up more for ourselves, where bigger is better ?
“Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.”

“What am I currently sacrificing, doing without, to put money away for myself, for someday ?”
Imagine* spending a day with a Christian going through intense persecution—threatened, arrested, church burned, house burned, spouse killed, hiding, hungry, children hungry—and you could help.

After spending the day with a persecuted fellow family member, you might consider this,
“Jesus, tell me if You want me to help them, now—and sacrifice something for myself.”
“Whatever you do for the least of these, my brothers, you do it for Me.”—–Jesus
“Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.”—–His Book
How do we do that ?
+ Pray for them—their plea is to not be forgotten.
+ Give to meet their needs, their family’s needs, now.

The poem refers to The Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, and the battle that ignited the American Revolutionary War.

Today we have a different shot heard round the world, with perhaps even greater significance and worldwide ramifications.
Covid—itself ill-intentioned to create chaos for world revolution—and the immediate hasty ‘development’ of the assorted covid ‘vaccines’—and the ensuing, questionable mandates from assorted, nefarious sources—and the widespread, under-reported, serious and deadly consequences from ‘the shot’ heard around the world – – – the obvious perfect weapon for the perfect storm for perfect control.
The world has been through the first ‘test’ of this combination of biological weapons—disease from China, and ‘treatment/vaccine’ from America—with effective, deadly, and crippling results.

The powers behind the whole thing are salivating at the results, and vigorously planning the next move—they can taste the ultimate power potential, and there is no stopping now, guaranteed.

Round one—surprise, devastating surprise, most of the world caught off-guard by the disease and the ‘vaccine’.
Round two—we know it’s coming—still, SURPRISE, DEVASTATING SURPRISE—America will be caught off-guard because we still don’t know what to do.

The people currently in power in this country will be all-too-happy to bow, knuckle under, give in, surrender sovereignty—but they will issue desperate mandates with deadly threats to maintain power as long as they can.
