THE BIBLE ! ! ! – – – FOR EVERYTHING ! ! !

Absolutely go directly to the Bible

— Only

Condition yourself to do so.
Train yourself to do so.
Consistently practice doing so.

Seek the Bible for–
— for everything
— for “doctrine” (it’s in there—IT says so)
— for labels for your beliefs (use what IT says already—don’t add man-made wording !—don’t do it—everybody does it—don’t do it)
— “reproof”, discipline, “correction”, “rebuke”, reprimand, censure, criticism, condemnation (it’s in there— IT says so—IT does a thorough job—if you think you must do or say more, watch out —don’t do it)
— “instruction” (it’s in there— IT says so—don’t think or say that you can tell ‘what IT really says’—don’t do that—let IT speak for itself)
— “righteous”, “perfect” (how ?—it’s in there— IT says so—read IT, study IT)

Man shows man how to be better ?—always, forever—nonsense, futility, like enthusiasm on a treadmill going downhill.

“. . . ever learning, but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.”

Americans are not buying the lame excuses and flimsy explanations without answers for the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump.
We all know that those in power in the federal government have been trying everything they possibly could to get rid of Trump for eight years, because he stands in their way to change America. *

Donald Trump is not going away.

The people plagued with TDS—Trump Derangement Syndrome—are so consumed with hatred for Trump and bloodthirst for power, that they can’t stop now trying to get rid of him !
And they are running out of options and time.

Many leaders in government and media and entertainment have committed criminal threats against Trump and his supporters and his Supreme Court appointees.

Agencies of the government have arrested and imprisoned citizens just for being political enemies, and illegally invaded homes to terrorize families to make unjustified arrests.

The intent (and the attempts) to eliminate Trump from power or influence or life by whatever means necessary are not a secret—not anymore, not to anybody.

The coverup is so pathetic already, that any additional attempts will be seen for what they are.

What about the rest of us Americans ?

Trump said at Mt. Rushmore, “They’re not coming after me; they’re coming after you.”

Netanjahu said the same thing, on a world scale, to Congress in July, “We’re not only protecting ourselves. We’re protecting you . . . Remember this: Our enemies are your enemies, our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory.”

Those coming after Israel—they’re coming after America—they’re coming after Trump—they’re coming after Americans.
– – –
It is clear, out in the open, that Trump supporters that believe in Making America Great Again are equal targets for elimination along with Trump.

Americans are the frog in the pot of water that is now boiling.
Anyone who tries to jump out of the pot and fight will be shot.

The willingness and readiness of American government leaders to kill American citizens—as many as necessary—is verified by two cold facts.

ONE–
Anyone advocating and willing to kill millions more American babies, to get elected, will kill millions more Americans, to stay in power.
TWO–
Over a decade ago we the taxpayers funded a billion and a half rounds of ammunition stockpiled for domestic use by the government (5 for each American).
– – –
Americans have their guns.
They will use them.
There will be bloodshed.
Fighting for freedom is still better than slavery.
Dying for freedom is still better than slavery.

Who wins this Second Civil War ?
It will be decided by surveillance technology—intimidation that prevents organization for successful revolution.

– – –

We long since passed the point where traitors were hanged for treason against the United States of America.
We’ve been betrayed.

* “fundamentally change America” by tearing it down for “the great reset” to socialism to marxism to communism to global government—slavery.

IF GOD SETS RULERS IN PLACE, . . .

The Bible says God sets up rulers and authorities.
So, some say, my vote doesn’t make any difference.

If you are an American citizen, then you must remember this, and be involved in the political process:

By the hand of God, for the first time in history, the citizens of America are the rulers of this country—choose wisely and prayerfully those who will represent you in government.
They are your servants, not your rulers.

If all the Christians in America voted, that would directly determine our future.

SUFFERING — WHO NEEDS IT ?

“The further we are away from suffering—our own or someone else’s—the weaker our theology will be.”—–Peter Rosenberger on afr

EASIER TO PREACH AT A FUNERAL

It is easier to preach at a funeral than at a wedding.

What is the first thing a preacher has to accomplish when he preaches ?
He must get the attention of the people in front of him.

At a funeral there is less distraction and more readiness to listen for comfort and direction, because of the devastating loss and uncertain future.

A wedding is loaded with nothing but distractions—certainty, confidence, elation, anticipation of positive future starting in a couple hours, to say nothing of fashion finery, smiles about the occasion, and justified focus on two people.
Poor preacher—lots of luck getting attention—usually calls for special techniques.

– – –

Now here is a Bible verse the preacher may meditate on in preparing a wedding message, so he has perspective on the occasion.
“Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart.”
We must not forget the realities of life and death, just because we’re supposed to be happy.

Likewise at a funeral, we must not forget the realities of life and death, just because we’re supposed to be sad.
A preacher must use both opportunities, at a funeral and at a wedding, to include the Gospel message, that we all need Jesus—admit we are sinners, accept Jesus’ payment for our sins, and get our names written in heaven.

NO PAIN – NO GAIN – – – THEN AND NOW

NO PAIN—NO GAIN
Fine motivational poster/slogan for youth fitness, generally based on fact.

Now, for seniors, the saying takes on a different wording, also largely based on fact.
PAIN—NO GAIN

IN WAR, NO SUBSTITUTE FOR . . .

“In war, there is no substitute for victory.”

“The prerequisite to peace is victory.”

“Peace through strength.”

DEI—Diversity, Equity, Inclusion—is the antithesis, the opposite of the above quotes, the opposite of standing for truth, fighting for truth, resisting the “broad road that leads to destruction.”*

The three words of DEI seem to call for passivity and submission (weakness), instead of strength and conviction—except for those imposing and enforcing DEI on everybody else.
DEI condemns anyone who believes in truth and defends what is right and rejects what is wrong.

The call for openness, acceptance, tolerance becomes the strongest agent for judging and rejecting and eliminating anyone who does not comply.

– – –

DEI in reality is a complete oxymoron—

DIVERSITY
positive – polished presentation to accept all kinds of ‘new’ ideas for utopia
negative – oxymoron – reality – create dissatisfaction with what you have, to make socialism seem so desirable (hidden dagger—socialism leads to marxism to communism to totalitarianism to tyranny to death—by the millions—history)

EQUITY
positive – polished promise of fair and equal for everyone
negative – oxymoron – reality – create dissatisfaction with injustices of the past—corrected by dismantling existing structures, with total control to make everybody the same to force universal equality—equal poverty, equal slavery

INCLUSION
positive – polished claims of acceptance, to be all things to all people
negative – oxymoron – reality – create dissatisfaction over suppression of certain groups, invent blame on other groups, foster unrest, upheaval, and violence—total control takes over, decides who is included, who lives, who does not.

*DEI is the epitome of the “broad road that leads to destruction.”
It sounds so open, so inviting, so easy to enter.
Then reality sets in, brutal force takes over, and evil laughs.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”—–Jesus
Indeed, following Jesus is not easy—He never said it would be.
“You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood, striving against sin.”

TALK = DONE (oh yeah ?)

I have a conclusion comment about
–discuss (talk)
–discussed (talked)
–disgusted (talked+ed)

“Over the years, I have observed that nearly every conversation about what needs to get done—actually ensures that it doesn’t get done ! ! !”

Funny how saying something exempts from doing something.

Funny how saying something makes you feel like you did something.

Funny how saying something makes you feel free to forget about it.

Apply this to politics and politicians—next time you hear someone talking (even the good guys who seem to stand for the right things).

So, repeating the above for emphasis, to get you to apply it to real people that come to mind as you read it again—

“Over the years, I have observed that nearly every conversation about what needs to get done—actually ensures that it doesn’t get done ! ! !”

PRETTY GOOD – – – BETTER THAN

It’s amazing how many people use that combination to convince themselves they’ll be okay.

Pretty Good and Better Than works okay with the joke about outrunning a bear.
How fast do you have to be ?
Pretty Fast is not fast enough.
Faster Than your partner—you should survive.

In matters of life, death, and after . . .
Pretty Good is never good enough for God.
Better Than others is never good enough for God.
Admitting my sin, asking Jesus to forgive my sin—that is good enough for God.

HOW TO TRUST AND O B E Y

“. . . and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

Hmmm
Am I missing something about obeying Jesus ?

“Bear . . .”
What was the best Job’s friends did ?
How long ?
Then, they talked—said things out of line—sucked Job into saying things out of line.

Human compulsion —
Christian compulsion —
Must offer suggestions to fix.
We usually, desperately, want someone we care about, to get better, so we feel better.
We’re successful if we get someone else successful.
We are uncomfortable when someone is hurting—until they stop hurting.

“Bear . . .” is different.
Says nothing about ‘fixing’.

Communicating we care counts most without words, even Bible verses, at first.

Quick to care —
Quick to bear —
Quick to share —
— the burdens.
Plenty of time to say something–or say nothing.

How do you know that you did “bear” right ?
You’ll know inside the other person.
Not how satisfied you think or feel that you did good.
If you bear another’s burdens, really, you may feel lousy for a time—get it ?—burdened by bearing another’s burden.
Then, you’ve caught the heart of Jesus.
Then, “BUT GOD”, and He takes it from there.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

May I suggest we must do this in person, face to face, touch to touch, tear to tear.
Share advice, counsel, Bible verses, insights, prayer—on line, yes.
Bear another’s burdens— ? on line ?, not so much.
