THIS WEEK’S SCHOOL SHOOTING(S) . . .

This week’s school shooting(s) brought to you by BHOB* and company for gun control.

Well, we may not have actually arranged it, but we’re certainly not going to let the tragedy be wasted without jumping in with our agenda.

He said, “Yes, it should be politicized.”

I say:  How criminal can you get, BHOB*?

It seems the world is going mad, and the mad dictator in Washington is cheering on the insanity, and pushing America over the cliff.

I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but thank God for the people in Oregon for saying “No thank you, BHOB*—leave us alone.”

Just think what life in America could be like again if BHOB* and company left all of us alone.

AWESOME SUNRISE

Every sunrise compels us to rise and shine.
“Rise and shine, and give God glory,
Children of the Lord.”

PERFECT WEATHER – – – PERFECT WORLD

A few days ago we had the first break from summer—air conditioning at no extra charge—a perfect weather day.
I have often posed the question, “What is the worst thing that could happen if we had perfect weather days every day?”
The question usually doesn’t go anywhere, but it’s always fair game to talk about the weather.

Perfect weather doesn’t last.
But it does raise a bigger question:
“What would happen if we lived in a perfect world?”

It already happened. (Genesis chapter 3)

BENEFITS OF LIFE / DEATH INSURANCE ? ? ?

How does a person experience the benefits of life insurance?

First you have to die.

Then, . . .

The benefits depend on your underwriter.

Life insurance can pay the undertaker.

But, . . .

Only Biblical Insurance pays the Uppertaker.

And that would be Jesus.

Policy already paid in full—in advance.

But you have to sign up for it—in advance.

And that would be . . . NOW.

SOMETHING WRONG ? – – – OR SOMETHING VERY RIGHT !

When something goes wrong in our lives, we all tend to first find a problem to blame the people closest to us.

Sometimes that may be true.

But for Christian families genuinely seeking to follow Jesus, we are not each other’s enemy.

The enemy satan is.

He is more than anything else a deceiver, creating illusions of diversion from the real issues.

Illusions lead to delusions, and we fight each other.

And often the reality is that we’re getting attacked primarily because we’re doing something right that displeases the devil.

So for the Christian couple experiencing difficulty, try first discussing together what good you are seeking in God’s will that is drawing fierce enemy fire.

Pray together against the devil, and thank God for what is right, before trying to figure out what’s wrong.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR CHRISTIANS, FOR THE DAYS AHEAD

We must give encouragement to each other, to be faithful witnesses as persecution and martyrdom draw close.

It’s not just news anymore to keep up with.

It’s Christianity as Jesus promised.

WHAT IF . . .

WHAT IF—

+We love God with everything?

+We are exactly where God wants us today?

+We are successful in His eyes when we fail in our eyes or in our critics’ eyes or in our creditors’ eyes?

+”What if the trials of this life—the pain, the storms, the darkest nights—are His blessings in disguise?”

CHRISTIANS FOR REAL

Someone will depend on you to bring them to Jesus.

Decide to live authentically as a Christian.

PRAY FOR HEALING, BUT DON’T . . .

Pray for healing, but don’t demand that God remove the very means to a closer walk with Him.

“I count all things but loss, . . .

That I may win Christ,

And be found in Him, . . .

That I may know Him,

And the power of His resurrection,

And the fellowship of His suffering , . . .”

WHAT DOES AC MEAN?

The White House refers to any private citizen with a firearm as an AC—Armed Civilian.

You got it wrong, BHOB*.

AC—that would be Armed Constitutionalist.

I refer to any private citizen with a firearm as AN AMERICAN!!!
