I AM CONTENT WHEN . . .

I am content when I get something done.
And then I thank God.
– – –
I am content when I get something done.
And then I don’t get something done.
And it is clear, God keeps me from getting something done.
And I am troubled.
And I “call on Him in the day of trouble” (tell Him exactly).
And I don’t tell Him what to do to fix it.
And I wait !
And I do whatever is clearly in front of me.
– – –
And “He delivers me.”
And “I glorify Him ! ! ! !” (more).

Sometimes I think:
“God, why can’t I just get things done like other people ?”
And God says, . . . (go back to all the above)
Several more Bible verses come to mind, that God says, but stop here before you read them.
God’s Words in His Word have the answers we need, and the power to carry us through when we don’t see His answers.

+ “Be still, and know that He (I AM) is God” before we rush to explain to help us feel better or think better.
Song:
“Sometimes He calms the storm;
Sometimes He calms His child.”
He just wants to remind us—we are His child !
That’s more important to Him than answers to get stuff done.
That’s what He wants for us.

+ “Without Me you can do nothing.”

+ “The fear of man brings a snare;
Whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.”
We easily forget that wanting what others have, or wanting what they get done, is sin—coveting—tenth commandment—‘a snare”—not “safe”—not harmless.

And God says (not a quote), “I’m not calling you to get things done like other people.”
