PROGRESSION

“Business As Usual”  can no longer be so, for all of us, except for the progressives and socialists and dictators among us.

The shaping of events in the world and in America is rapidly becoming real and personal and close to home.  This morning I sent the following to someone very close to me.  I share it here because writing and discussing what is happening can no longer be just an intellectual exercise or a hobby or even an occupation.

“Note the progression in my blog.  Something is missing—in politics, in culture, in the church, in talk radio, in the news. And what may be missing in me?  At what point do the changes around us call for change in our lives?  Do we wait for the monumental things to happen, and react, or do we speak up and lead positive change and resistance preemptively?
I don’t have all the answers, but I have some that are very clear, and so I share.  But more action is needed immediately to save us from slavery.

I believe Jesus is in charge and in complete control of everything—my life, your life, history.  Just as He is in charge in all of life, we are to be involved—making a difference in all of life.  When Jesus said in the parable, “Occupy till I come,” He certainly was talking about everything, not just about making the money He gave into more money.”
