(a couple weeks ago)
This morning I saw the most awesome sunrise and super moonset at the same time.
It’s a day after 8″ of slow, drought-busting rain.
The air is clean and clear, except for God’s painting in the eastern sky for anyone who will notice.*
The full moon setting in the west was so bright in the clear air that it caught my eye before I looked at it.
I texted friends and children—it was too good not to share.
And I came to a profound conclusion:
I will believe in man-made climate change when man stops God’s masterpieces in the sky.
We have no idea how little we are.
We have no idea how great God is.
Anyone who cannot look up on a morning like this and acknowledge God, is a fool indeed.
*Sometimes I wonder as I notice extra special stuff in the sky, “What if at this very moment, I am the only person in the world who sees this and stops for time with God. What an amazing personalized communication/connection with the Creator.”
