Jesus was God, always.
Jesus is God, always.
So, how is it possible that Jesus had to learn, or could learn ?
We cannot completely comprehend everything included when Jesus set aside life in heaven—God—and came to earth, to us—man—and lived both for 33 years.
We can know just as much as we need to know about Jesus—God—from the Bible.

++ When Jesus was twelve years old, the Bible says he said “he had to be about His Father’s business”—His Father in heaven.
Then the Bible says, “He went home with [his parents] Mary and Joseph, and obeyed them.”
Then the Bible says, “Jesus grew in wisdom (mentally) and stature (physically) and in favor with God (spiritually) and in favor with man (socially).”
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be tempted, and win.
The Bible says, “He was in all points like we are, yet without sin.”
++ Jesus learned rejection and suffering on earth, because there were no such things in heaven.
The Bible says “He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.”
++ Jesus learned the blessing of fellowship in close friendships with human beings.
The Bible says that John was “the disciple whom Jesus loved.”
The Bible says He often visited His friends Mary and her sister Martha and their brother Lazarus.
++ Jesus learned sadness over the loss of some of those close to Him.
The Bible says Jesus cried openly at the grave of his friend Lazarus.
The Bible says Jesus cried over Jerusalem, because they rejected Him.
The Bible says Jesus wanted to bring them together like a hen with her chicks, “but they would not”.
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be tired, very tired.
The Bible says Jesus was sleeping soundly in a boat about to be swamped in a severe storm.
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to need, depend on, much time praying, often alone.
The Bible says that many times “way before daylight Jesus went to a solitary place and prayed.”
The Bible says that sometimes “Jesus prayed all night.”
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to carry the burden of sin, our sin, by choice, even though He was sinless.
The Bible says this was the cause for which Jesus came to earth.
Jesus learned what it’s like to plead over and over for deliverance from that burden.
The Bible says Jesus prayed for that deliverance three times, so passionately that He sweat blood.
Jesus learned that He could not avoid His mission to deliver us from the burden of our sin.
Jesus learned to surrender to His Father’s will.
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be betrayed.
The Bible says Jesus asked Judas, “Friend, why are you here ?”
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to have enemies and suffer extreme pain at their hands.
++ Jesus learned what it’s like to die.
Jesus learned what it’s like to finish what He was called to do.
The Bible says, “Jesus said, ‘It is finished’ and died.”
