DAMASCUS ROAD – – – BUTLER RALLY

Sometimes, many times, God intervenes dramatically in the lives of individuals He chooses and appoints for a special purpose, a specific task.

God arranged something spectacular to first get Saul’s attention, then change his heart and mission from terrorizing Christians to the number one spokesman for Jesus.

At the time of Saul’s conversion (and his name-change to Paul), God told Annanias to baptize him and said,
“I will show him how much he must suffer for Me.”

God arranged a dramatically close encounter with death for Donald Trump in Butler, PA, to get his attention.
God put Trump in the White House by way of an unprecedented mandate from American voters.

God had a mission, a definite task for Trump to accomplish.
Trump got the message.
Over and over he said,
“God saved my life so I can save America.”
Amen to that !

I believe the ongoing overwhelming opposition to Trump is confirmation of that mission.

CLEAN – – – RIGHT – – – PRESENCE – – – HOLY – – – JOY – – – FREE

Create in me a CLEAN heart, Oh God,
And renew a RIGHT spirit within me.

Cast me not away from Your PRESENCE,
And do not take Your HOLY Spirit from me.

Restore unto me the JOY of Your salvation, and hold me up with Your FREE Spirit.”

“CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST”

Christians are not called to make the government the church (or make the church the government).

Remember how that ‘worked’ for the Holy Roman Empire.
Seemed great at first—the growth of the church—until it took over the government—until “the church” leaders used authority (power) of the government to kill anyone who disagreed with them, even Christians.

Christians are called to be “a peculiar people” that don’t fit well in this world.

Jesus did not fit well in this world, and He explained why.
“My kingdom is not of this world.”
“The world will hate you, because it hated me first.”
“Do not love the world or the things in the world.”

Christians are called to make a difference for good in this world.

“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.”
“Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
“Go, and do likewise.” (like the Good Samaritan)

Christians are called by Jesus from day one to be “salt” and “light”.

It is impossible for salt and light to not affect everything, influence everything around it (unless salt stays in the salt shaker) (unless light doesn’t have the light switch turned on).

Christians are called to tell everyone the good news of forgiveness for our sin because Jesus paid the penalty for all.

This good news also sets people, and nations, free from all kinds of evil.
Christians make a world of difference in this world—involved in the government and in the culture, to
promote the best policies for all citizens, and to help those who are suffering.

Christians–
— Citizens of heaven, forever
— Citizens of a nation, for this time

CHRISTIAN NATIONALISTS ?
— Yes !
— Worshipping God above all !
— Committed to making our nation better !

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN – AND – EVOLUTION

“If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the Maker’s notice,”
Then . . .”Is it probable that a kingdom will rise without His aid ?”*

It is also an even more obvious parallel—
☆ “If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the Maker’s notice,”
and
☆☆ “If is improbable that a kingdom will rise without His aid,”
THEN,
☆☆☆ It is even more unlikely, inpossible – – – that all creation appeared without the Creator.

☆☆☆☆ It is even farther more impossible that a person can be ready for death and after, without Jesus.

*—–Benjamin Franklin, to George Washington in the Constitutional Convention, 1787. Then he called for prayer to open every session from then on.

REPENT – – – WHEN ?

When is repentance most likely ?

While living ?
When dying ?
Earlier is better, more likely.

The chance (likelihood) of repentance goes down over time as a person gets older.

Statistically, that is.

Thank God that He is not bound or limited by statistics generated by man’s response to Him.

Anyone (ANY ONE),
Anytime [ANY TIME),
Can get saved ☆!☆!

IF – – – you’re still alive.

And just how long will that be ?
How much time do you have ?
How much time do you think you have ?
How does your life reflect how much time you have left—or don’t have left ?

The problem is not if you have enough time to come to Jesus and get saved.
The problem is: Do you understand what’s at stake ?

If you put it off right now, your chances of getting saved and going to heaven go down, and your chances of not getting saved and going to hell go up.

CHOICE
“You choose THIS DAY whom you will serve.”

STATISTICS
Repeat—God is not limited by statistics, and neither are you.
No matter what your age . . .
No matter what your past . . .
No matter what your present . . .
You can come to Jesus today, NOW, and ask Him to save you, and He will save you.

OR
You can be another statistic and go to hell.

THERE IS NO GOOD REASON TO CHOOSE “OR.”

SOCIALISM – – – COMMUNISM

first,

SOCIALISM
Promises made – – – to – – – dissatisfied people.

then,

COMMUNISM
Promises broken – – – to – – – enslaved people.

WHAT AI CAN DO – – -WHAT AI CAN NOT DO

Artificial Intelligence can give you all the dots you ask for, and don’t ask for.

Artificial Intelligence cannot connect the dots, and stay within your value system.

The danger is when AI develops and controls individual people into ever-increasing, all-encompassing, exclusive dependence.

DOCTORS – – – AND – – – PATIENTS

Doctors can’t be patient.

Patients can’t be doctor.

Doctors can’t afford to be patient.

Patients are not allowed to be doctor.
(except when they must speak up and set the record straight.)

GOD, THE BIBLE, AND CAPITALISM

The only progressive* system of economics is capitalism.

The only economic system that makes people better off is capitalism.

The only economic system that creates wealth is capitalism.

Capitalism works.

Capitalism works with freedom.

It’s a fact—“these truths”.

It’s obvious—“self-evident”.

It’s guaranteed—“certain”.

It’s permanent—“unalienable”.

Claim it—“We hold”.

We have the rights to freedom (“liberty”) and capitalism (“pursuit of happiness”)—follows the “right to life”.

Capitalism works so well in America because the Declaration of Independence recognizes and states clearly that the principle of freedom to pursue happiness and create wealth comes directly from God.

Capitalism is the economic system designed by God—“Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”

* All other systems are regressive.

DID JESUS LEARN ?

Jesus was God, always.
Jesus is God, always.

So, how is it possible that Jesus had to learn, or could learn ?

We cannot completely comprehend everything included when Jesus set aside life in heaven—God—and came to earth, to us—man—and lived both for 33 years.

We can know just as much as we need to know about Jesus—God—from the Bible.

– – –

++ When Jesus was twelve years old, the Bible says he said “he had to be about His Father’s business”—His Father in heaven.
Then the Bible says, “He went home with [his parents] Mary and Joseph, and obeyed them.”
Then the Bible says, “Jesus grew in wisdom (mentally) and stature (physically) and in favor with God (spiritually) and in favor with man (socially).”

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be tempted, and win.
The Bible says, “He was in all points like we are, yet without sin.”

++ Jesus learned rejection and suffering on earth, because there were no such things in heaven.
The Bible says “He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.”

++ Jesus learned the blessing of fellowship in close friendships with human beings.
The Bible says that John was “the disciple whom Jesus loved.”
The Bible says He often visited His friends Mary and her sister Martha and their brother Lazarus.

The Bible says Jesus cried over Jerusalem, because they rejected Him.
The Bible says Jesus wanted to bring them together like a hen with her chicks, “but they would not”.

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be tired, very tired.
The Bible says Jesus was sleeping soundly in a boat about to be swamped in a severe storm.

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to need, depend on, much time praying, often alone.
The Bible says that many times “way before daylight Jesus went to a solitary place and prayed.”
The Bible says that sometimes “Jesus prayed all night.”

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to carry the burden of sin, our sin, by choice, even though He was sinless.
The Bible says this was the cause for which Jesus came to earth.
Jesus learned what it’s like to plead over and over for deliverance from that burden.
The Bible says Jesus prayed for that deliverance three times, so passionately that He sweat blood.
Jesus learned that He could not avoid His mission to deliver us from the burden of our sin.
Jesus learned to surrender to His Father’s will.

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to be betrayed.
The Bible says Jesus asked Judas, “Friend, why are you here ?”

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to have enemies and suffer extreme pain at their hands.

++ Jesus learned what it’s like to die.
Jesus learned what it’s like to finish what He was called to do.
The Bible says, “Jesus said, ‘It is finished’ and died.”

The Bible says, “Even though He was God’s Son, Jesus learned obedience by the things He suffered.”
