WE’RE OUT OF HERE ?

I wonder how many people (Americans) hear a drift of the teaching that Christians will be out of here before big trouble—and then live like we won’t see God’s judgment on America, for sixty million abortions.

That would definitely not fit God’s past record of dealing with sin.

I find it impossible to believe that America is the one exception in history to God’s judgment, starting now—Christians included, because we bear a great deal of responsibility for this holocaust.

We have forgotten how to repent.

God can solve that.

But I fear that many Americans claiming Christianity will despair and turn away from God as judgment is falling, because they have been lied to in the pew with comfortable Christianity.

What can we know for sure ?

What the Bible says is for sure !

What man says is not for sure.

What we think and feel is not for sure.

– – –

“Be not deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”

Same for nations: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

“If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face, and turn from THEIR WICKED WAYS—then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

MY GOOD BUDDY and MIRACLE MILES

It looks like this is going to be trucker testimonies shared over cb radios.

Well, I have high regard for truckers and their communication over the air waves.

The main reason I could never make it as a truck driver, although I had some significant local delivery jobs, was the condition of narcolepsy. You just can’t override it.

This article is going to be about two miracle testimonies.

Buddy and Miles are two amazing dogs that each had a life-threatening injury to a rear leg, about six or seven years apart, before they were together.

Buddy has been my dearest border collie for over a decade—we are close.

Years ago he was excitedly twirling around in front of my son’s truck, too close, and got run over.

I was not home, and the news devastated me, not knowing if he was going to survive.

I prayed, just that he would make it.

He did, but it seemed to take forever just to see him get around.

He loved to run, sometimes up to thirty miles an hour, and now he couldn’t even walk.

I can’t explain it—his healing is a miracle.

He runs again, not thirty miles an hour now, but he wants me to ride my bicycle fast, so he can run fast.

An interesting observation:

When he walks, he uses the back leg, rather normal.

When he trots, he often carries the back leg.

When he runs full speed, you can’t tell anything is wrong with the leg.

Buddy and I were very close for years, but as you may guess, now we are CLOSE !

We are both getting up in years, and we do face the reality of slowing down a bit.

Miles joined us a little over a year ago, my wife’s dog.

He was amazing to me from day one, because he had so many traits of a border collie—in reality, almost a clone of Buddy—so we got close.

One day I was pulling my sixteen foot trailer behind my van.

As I went around a curve in my gravel driveway, Miles ran out of room between the trailer tire and cactus next to the road.

The gutwrenching devastation of running over this new treasured dog was too much.

His injuries were even more life-threatening than Buddy’s.

He got x-rays, and the vet gave no hope—said he never saw a dog recover from such injuries, including internal as well as a rear leg like Buddy.

While others made plans for putting Miles down, I prayed and pleaded with God to have mercy on me and the dog.

He couldn’t eat, and had to be carried outside to go.

Days without hope, but I prayed and hoped.

Sometimes God just chooses to say yes, and heal—slowly, so we don’t forget to keep praying, and keep thanking.

Then one day, he could stand a few seconds, then he could go without being held up.

The days and weeks not being able to walk were so hard, because Miles was wired to fly like the wind, in total delight, in love of life, just like Buddy.

The little steps of progress were so thrilling—walking a few steps before exhaustion, picking up a stick, wanting to run if only he could, then actually running a little, then a little more (rationing him, to not hurt himself), wanting to get in the car (with help), getting in the car without help, running faster, chasing a ball, and now tearing up the turf in the house and outside, clearing all five steps on the way out—no restrictions.

Miles and I got close right after I met him—now we’re CLOSE, but different than Buddy and me.

Miles is still young, and he can’t imagine ever having to slow down.

It’s amazing, the times God chooses to use a precious creature to touch our hearts and lives profoundly, and sometimes two at the same time.

Indeed—-My Good Buddy and Miracle Miles—thank You, Jesus.

We do well to observe and remember—the most contemporary, held in highest esteem, may well be temporary.

It takes more than tracking polls of popularity and trends with the most followers, to discern what is going to last.

It takes historical perspective to find and keep a rock foundation for life and family and country, to prevent hysterical perspective from following ‘new’ promises of utopia with old consequences of tyranny.

Sadly, devastatingly, accurate historical perspective is seriously out of fashion today—open opportunity for oppression.

– – –

Is there anything still to be found in today’s contemporary world, that is not temporary?

Yes, it is to be found, but not found in the world.

What about Values?

What about Truth?

What about Family?

What about Marriage?

What about the Bible?

What about God?

– – –

Most of that list is despised in most places now.

But, the Light of Truth will shine brighter even in this present growing darkness, if . . .

. . . if anyone who holds those six foundations holds them high, holds them without compromise, holds them against opposition, holds them “with persecution.”

If you are one of the ‘anyone,’ Mark 10:1-31 gives the rest of the perspective on the title above.

PATRIOT’S PRAYER

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the WEAPONRY to make the difference.”

RAISED RIGHT

A caller to American Family Radio described his upbringing, with strong values of family and right and wrong.

When he was a teenager, some friends invited him to join them breaking into a house.

He told them “no,” and said to himself:

If I was caught for doing something like that, I would beg the cops to take me to jail—not home!

TRUST ME, I’M HERE TO HELP . . . REALLY?

Trust me, I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.

“Fool me once, you’re a fool.”

Yeah, I’ll trust you—as far as I can throw you.

Trust me, I’m from God (theologian), and I’m here to help.

“Fool me twice, who’s a fool?”

Yeah, I trusted you—me, a fool no more.

Trust Me, I’m God, and I AM here to help you.

Hmmm. Review the facts.

Trust man? “Cursed is everyone who trusts in man.”

Trust ‘man of God’? “But a hireling, who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.”

Trust God? “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”

ULTIMATUM – – – NO LAUGHING MATTER

If China gives an ultimatum with a choice to surrender, like we gave Japan, what will our answer be?

Dear Xi Xi Ping Pong,

I know Hunter and I owe you one.

Will you take it in land, because we spent the money?

Oh, the land you’ve taken is not enough?

So I guess we owe you one . . . country.

Guess that was really the bargain from the beginning.

Just remember me.

Yours truly,

Joe Biden my time

PS—It’s been great. Just remember me.

From day one I predicted that Biden will surrender to China.

ULTIMATUMS

The Potsdam Declaration was the ultimatum that gave Japan the choice to surrender—OR ELSE!

Eleven days later, and fourteen days later, Japan experienced “prompt and utter destruction” as clearly stated in the ultimatum.

The day is coming when China will give an ultimatum to the United States.

Practically all developing factors clearly point in that direction.

The question: Will the ultimatum give choices, namely surrender, with terms?

– – –

Choices—America has had our choices,* particularly in the last sixty years.

Those choices have consequences, though sometimes slow in developing, yet as certain as history records before us.

Do we think we can get away with our choices, since nobody has given us an ultimatum yet?

– – –

Another question: Are the enemies we see growing stronger the only ones who could give us an ultimatum?

In 2016 our choice was Trump—with a promise kept, with three Supreme Court Justices, and Roe was overturned.

But has America’s heart been overturned?

– – –

Ultimatum 2.0 (2020)—our ‘choice’ (with evil’s help) was evil—consequences abound for everyone to see.

Ultimatum 2.2 (2022)—‘last chance’ for our choice—or ‘not a chance’ for our choice.

Guess we’ll see soon enough, but too much is at stake to wait and see and hope things swing back in the right direction.

– – –

You see, God works in the affairs of men and nations, as Ben Franklin said, and God gives ultimatums.

God gives commands, warnings, judgments, in addition to natural consequences He has set in motion from the beginning.

In God’s judgment coming on the U.S., there may well be no more ultimatums with choices, just prompt and utter destruction.

Ninety percent of what makes America great is already unraveling for all to see.

What holds us together is no more.

How many does it take to make a remnant?

How much commitment does it take to make a remnant?

Who knows?—God knows.

THE FLOOD

How many people did it take?—Eight

How committed?—Hundred years building, scoffed, rejected

SODOM

How many people did it take?—Ten (found four, sort of)

How committed?—Saltified, Drunk, Incestuous

ISRAEL

How many people did it take?—Few Faithful Prophets

How committed?—To Death (not enough, invasion, captivity)

CHURCH

How many people did it take?—Hundred twenty, plus the Holy Spirit

How committed?—Most martyred (church grew, Israel disappeared)

REMNANT FOR AMERICA

How many people will it take?—More than right now

How committed?—Serious persecution must first reduce the numbers, eliminate the comfortable ‘christians.’ Most of us may have to start from scratch in the committed Christian life. “Search me, Oh God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN

The worst thing that could happen to the United States between now and November is low fuel prices.

DIVERSITY—EQUITY—INCLUSION

(Comments addressed to Temple, Texas City Council meeting 8-18-22)

My name is Larry Michalk,

I’m here to address the DEI issue—Diversity, Equity, Inclusion—driven by the LGBT agenda.

As government leaders, the Bible says you are

“ministers of God, for the punishment of evildoers, and the praise of those who do good.”

—That is, keeping law and order, and commending good in businesses and organizations.

Pursuing DEI reverses these roles of government.

—It leads to praising evil, like gay pride—and punishing good, like Christian businesses who don’t cater to everything that LGBT demands.

This may gain popularity for a time, as seen on the foxdog site—but it quickly leads to destruction.

It is clear from history that any healthy society does not start down this road and survive.

From diverse—to inclusive—to divisive—to demanding—to destructive—to deadly anarchy—to tyranny.

Not opinion—just historical fact.

I spoke to this council four years ago about this serious matter, knowing the issue would not go away, and here we are.

I said that until recently the Bible was the guide in issues such as this, and it quickly settled the debate.

Just because the Word of God may be somewhat out of fashion these days for those of you who support DEI, by no means does that mean it is out of power.

We cannot rewrite or improve on what it says.

We ignore it at our peril, as a nation, and as a community.

The Bible says, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

You cannot pursue DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), and retain God in your platform for this city.

This council must choose between the two- – -Temple must choose.

And, each of you cannot claim God in your personal life—and vote for city policies God hates.
