DEVELOPING DOCTRINE

Doctrine should come straight from the Bible, not from steps of logic and reasoning. (example—Concluding that the rapture must be at Revelation 3 because the church is not mentioned after that for many chapters, could be true but based on mental calculating rather than clearly stated).

Examine the foundation steps for building any doctrine.

Is the starting premise black-and-white Biblical?

Would the people in the Bible, and those who wrote the Bible, declare, agree, that the doctrine is absolutely essential?

And, what benefit is any doctrine or any teaching that is not straightforward out of the Bible?

Keep essential doctrines simple, and not limited to the learned.

SYSTEMIC RACISM

Racism is caused by systemic sin—the systemic sin nature that is in all of us.

We are like a field of dry grass that can be set ablaze under the right circumstances with the right spark.

Some people hold up a metal lightening rod in a thunderstorm, inviting their dry grass to be ignited.

Some people delight in throwing a lighted match on others’ dry grass.

The sinful, evil nature inside all of us waits for the trigger of temptation to give us the excuse to act on what we wanted to do all along.

“As a person thinks in his heart, so is he.”

“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” and so, racism.

Systemic racism is solved only by addressing systemic sin.

Systemic sin is addressed only by turning to Jesus for healing of the heart, and then healing of our other ills.

SOCIALISM UNMASKED

What is the goal of socialism?

What does socialism promise?

What does socialism deliver?

Does socialism work?

The goal of socialism is power—masterminds achieve power by promises and propaganda.

What socialism promises is vastly different from the goal of socialism.

Socialism never delivers on its promises.

Socialism promises impossible things—basically utopia—to the unstable society, to the unsettled who are desperate for answers that will solve every ill, to people who will accept promises at any price, to people who have lost the value of working for what they own and defending it.

Does socialism work?

Yes, it works just fine for a few at the top of power, and it works to make everyone else equal—equally starving.

The few at the top work for the inventor of stealing, killing, and destroying—the devil.

How about trying just a little socialism, partial socialism—give the devil a little finger, and he’ll take the whole hand.

Socialism is from the pit of hell and smells like smoke.

Don’t touch it, America—Enough already—Don’t be a sucker for more lies—You’ll be so sorry.

IT’S GETTING BAD – – – SO . . .

What should we be considering for the time when things get really bad?

You mean, like now?—like real soon, maybe?

How to protect myself, and my family?

How can we get out of here?

Big talk—is it big cheap?

Is planning just talk?

Where can we go?

Can we survive?

What matters?

What works?

Any help?

“We see it’s getting bad, so . . . don’t develop an escape plan—develop an impact plan.”—–Frank Turek (on American Family Radio)

That resonates with me—my by-line on this site:

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE, IN THE PARTS THAT ARE FOR KEEPS

The stuff that counts will soon be separated from the stuff that doesn’t count.

Then we will all understand what we really need—eternal survival.

“THE ONE THING” – – – NOT THE ONE RING

“Be not deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”

Jesus did not call for ‘balance’ in where we lay up our treasure—some on earth and some in heaven—“on earth is okay, just don’t trust it” is not possible according to Jesus.

Yet we pursue it relentlessly—laying up treasures on earth—why?—to make more money—why?

God have mercy.

Don’t say anything against it, or else . . .

“If the American economy holds up long enough for us to enjoy our retirement portfolios, then Jesus’ words don’t have to be taken literally. If it falls apart, and we lose it all, then maybe we’ll have to revisit what Jesus said.”

What else did Jesus say?

“THE ONE THING you lack—go and sell all you have and give it to the poor, and come follow me.” (the guy went away sad, because he had a lot)

AMERICA – – – WITH GOD OR WITHOUT GOD ?

No God—No America.

It’s that simple.

It’s our choice.

“Seek the Lord while He may be found;
call on him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways
    and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for He will freely pardon.”

HEAVEN IS ALL-IMPORTANT

Heaven—Don’t Miss It For The World ! ! !

“What shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul.”

“PULPITS AFLAME WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS”

“Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power.”—–Alexis de Tocqueville

That was almost two centuries ago.

If only it could be said of America today.

Preachers, seek God’s message, and fire away, this week.

And the rest of the quote:

“In the end, the state of the Union comes down to the character of the people. … I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors, her ample rivers, and it was not there. I sought for it in the fertile fields, and boundless prairies, and it was not there. I sought it in her rich mines, and vast world commerce, and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power.”

OUT OF SERVICE – – – SORRY

Water fountains with sign:

“Out Of Order—Sorry For The Inconvenience.”

After many months, one word caught my attention.

Out Of ‘Order’?—Water fountains are not out of order.

Water fountains are out of service—by decision.

America—out of service—by decision—sorry for the ‘inconvenience’—thank you, China.

America will soon be out of order—with continued compliance to manipulative mandates.

FREEDOM – – – BY WORDS – – – BY ACTIONS

The words of preachers before the American Revolution gave a clear message from the Bible that inspired The Great Awakening, which prepared Americans spiritually for the Declaration of Independence, and the War, and the Constitution.

The words and actions of preachers at the time of the American Revolution inspired the Patriots to take action and take up arms.

After the preacher preached on Sunday morning, he took off his robe in front of the church, to reveal his uniform, and led the militia training on Sunday afternoon.

The preachers at the time of the American Revolution were more feared by King George than all the American military (according to George himself).

The preachers at the time of the American Revolution cared more about the cost of freedom than the cost of offending someone.

Their messages likely offended more than they inspired, but thank God they preached it.

Likewise today the cost of freedom versus the cost of offending someone is clearly laid out before preachers in the pulpit and Christians in the pew.

We must speak out now—we must act out now.

We don’t have time to wait and see how things will play out, like we did in the past, watching the pendulum swing back and forth.
