A missionary working in Africa for many years was visiting America. I heard him talking on the radio about frequent miracles experienced in his work—often with children used by God in the miracles. The interviewer asked the missionary why so many miracles are witnessed in Africa, and so few in America. His answer was short and simple:
“In Africa we don’t have a backup plan.”
(I wonder if that missionary working in Africa was actually a missionary to America, from Africa.)
