WHO GETS THE GLORY ?

When anyone tells about making it through a difficult time, big or small—it matters who gets the credit.

When anyone tells about experiencing a wonderful time, big or small—it matters who gets the credit.

Some people are reluctant to mention God every time something works out, preferring to state a logical explanation—which may indeed have its place.

Some even say there are just things in life that we have to figure out and take care of ourselves.

They like to quote a verse that is not in the Bible, “God helps those who help themselves.”  In fact, that saying is contrary to the Bible, which teaches our total dependence on God.

If everything in our life, our very breath and heartbeat, exists and continues by God alone, then we do well to “acknowledge Him in all our ways,” and do so aloud whenever we have opportunity.

“Call upon Me . . .” How big an item or how little an item in our everyday life, matters enough to include God with conscious thought and verbal expression, with and without others hearing us?

As you can tell on this site, I like to wear out certain Bible verses—and definitely so in my own life.

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”

God gives us understanding, that we can use to create and figure and solve things, just like He gives us money to buy and do things.

The tricky part is trusting God with all our heart, and not depending on our understanding.

How can you tell where your heart is, what you are trusting?

A good measure is what you say when you talk about everything you face day to day, and what you listen to, that others say.

Do you think you can say too much about God in everyday life?

Do you fear that others will think you say too much about God in everyday life?

Do you think about what God thinks of what you say about Him in everyday life?

What would please God more:

+Watching you figure things out yourself?

+Listening to you asking Him to help you in every situation (verbally, aloud and silently)?

What will work out better in the long run (and in the short run)—what you take credit for, or what you give God credit for?

What is your goal—success in getting stuff done, or success in a closer walk with Jesus day to day?

EVOLUTION IS DE-VOLUTION

Evolution cannot produce anything progressive.

It can only produce regressive.

Any possible, promised, beneficial mutations are offset by harmful mutations that cancel reproduction.*

We do not observe, and we cannot create, anything positive, anything close to a new species.

The amazing work in genetics of cross-breeding and cross-pollination to increase quality and production, always works within the boundaries of each kind of animal or plant.

Science works these wonders only because the potential variations are already built into the DNA.

Man simply uses what God created.

Evolution is de-volution.

Evolution is evil-ution.

– – –

Evolution is devilution.

– – –

So, evolution is ‘devil-ution.’

Evolution is the devil’s solution to man’s search for a system to avoid accountability to God.

The unprecedented acceptance of evolution in modern times is evidence of man’s nature at war with God.

Again:

Evolution is not a scientific discovery by Darwin.

Evolution is the ultimate invention for ‘wanna-be’ atheists.

*LGBT is a bunch of non-reproductive, regressive mental mutations—applied evolution, attempted today—just the latest “Did God really say?”

EDUCATION – – – SMALLER IS BETTER

About 25 years ago I was meeting with the school superintendent in the rural community of Riesel, Texas, to talk about their playground.

We had a well-rounded conversation about education—one of my top passions.

He quoted a professor from an east Texas university, shedding light on education focus:

“Give me your existing education budget, and let me build two-room schoolhouses all over the district, and education will improve.”

Amazing, there are variations of that concept gaining credence and momentum across the country–home school, co-ops, Christian schools, education pods, school choice.

ORGANIZED ANARCHY

How in the world does all the reported chaos develop so rapidly everywhere around us?

Can it all be organic, springing up on its own, spontaneously, without something, or someone behind it?

Who is coordinating the headlong plunge into disaster, intentionally, on purpose, with a hell-bent goal of destruction?

And how in the world does this unseen leader get so many people to support evil campaigns, to march for murder, to vote for godless politicians passionate for evil policies?

The devil is the one.

Anyone who denies this national/international community organizer—this anarchy organizer—anyone who is a spiritual denier, is in fact the perfect recruit for satan’s evil agenda “to kill, steal, and destroy.”

While it looks like the devil is winning, does that mean God and good are losing?

God does not lose—never has—never will.

His timing is not ours.

“God’s mills grind slowly,

But they grind exceeding small.

While with patience He may linger,

Yet in justice He grinds all.”

INDULGENCES AND LAST RITES – – – WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE ?

Over 500 years ago the Catholic Church pressured the common people to buy pieces of paper that ‘guaranteed’ forgiveness for their dead relatives and deliverance from purgatory (hell).

The church (the pope) utilized this scheme to fund another cathedral.

Thank God for Martin Luther, a Catholic priest, for exposing this evil, and it stopped.

Or did it ?

The Catholic Church changed only just enough to avoid total, widespread revolution.

Their fundamental teachings and practices remain intact, even today.

– – –

Faithful Catholics go to mass blindly with mostly meaningless rituals, give lots of money to fund and maintain the elaborate superstructure, and receive the church’s word that they are right with God, from the cradle to the grave, literally.

– – –

Indulgences—from day one, continued today, without the piece of paper—called last rites.

Forgiveness for the dead, pronounced by authority of the Catholic Church, unbiblical, unabated.

What about the other churches of today?

How many churches give people false hope, false assurance of heaven, by the words spoken to them from the leader, and by words spoken over them from their first days in the cradle, to their last day, in the casket.

Every baby celebration in the church and every funeral in the church must be an opportunity to tell everyone present of their need for forgiveness from Jesus—the only way for assurance of heaven.

MORE TERRIFYING THAN . . . A LIFE-THREATENING STORM

Jesus’ disciples lost all faith in survival and thought they were going to drown in a sudden storm on the Sea of Gallilee.

Waves were getting in the boat.

Seasoned fishermen can die just like anyone else, and they were scared to death.

– – –

Oh, but Jesus was with them, so they should not have been afraid.

Yes, just like us—we know Jesus is with us, but we still lose it when the waves come overboard.

– – –

But Jesus was asleep, and waking Him meant admitting they were at their wits end, embarrassing.

And, just like us—sometimes it feels like Jesus may as well be sleeping in our storm-tossed boat, and in our attempted self-sufficiency we delay calling out to Him.

– – –

Did Jesus save the disciples?

Yes, that day he saved their lives.

He had a mission for them.

That mission included opposition that threatened their very lives—not by a storm on water, but at the hands of men who hated their message that Jesus is the way, the only way.

And Jesus did not save them then.

They gave their lives, and Jesus gave them perfect LIFE in heaven—the ultimate “Peace be still, and the waves and wind died down, and suddenly there was a great calm.”

When we “Call on Him in the day of our trouble”—whether right away or delayed—“He will deliver us, and we will glorify Him.”

Sometimes (but not always) we get to glorify Him for deliverance here.

Always, forever, we get to glorify Him in heaven, in the presence of Jesus (and those same disciples that were so scared, more than once).

Oh, the title above—

What really terrified the disciples more than the storm was the realization when Jesus instantly made the wind and waves obey.

WHO IS THIS REALLY, IN OUR BOAT, that we are following?

We left everything.

Where is He taking us?

Little did they know, yet, but it was starting to sink in.

May it be so for you and me today.

The storms you so much dread

Are filled with mercy and shall break

In blessings on your head.

TRUTH ON THE SCAFFOLD

Truth was on the scaffold during covid.—–Truth is coming out now, all over.

Masking was wrong.

+Masking devastated education.

+Smiles were banned by masking.

+Communication was curtailed.

‘Social’ Distancing was a misnomer—–What should have been called medical distancing, social distancing separated people’s relationships, to create suspicion and distrust—–Division, the hallmark of marxism.

The forced ‘vaccine’ (so called) was illegal, harmful—– now, truth, and the mandate is banned.

Hydroxychloroquin and Ivermectin were effective, and banned.

– – –

The covid shutdown closed churches, and churches complied, and didn’t recover.

Truth may be on the scaffold during the current pandemic of dei—–Yet that scaffold sways the future.

You do not need to wait for the future to know the truth about dei with its dire consequences, just as sure as the irrecoverable damage done to all of us from the covid shutdown.

You realize the current inflation came from the government shutdown for covid and the stimulus checks of manufactured money to cover their disaster—with natural consequences.

The covid shutdown, lgbt, dei ‘enlightenment’, crt, socialism, marxism—they are all simply a war against truth, against God, and against God’s people.

Catering just a little to dei means bowing down to dei and to the forces that are using dei to destroy America.

ONE—–Negotiate—sounds like a way to avoid war—never works for winning.

TWO—–“Investigate”—a way to buy time for p/r and the enemy—never works for winning.

THREE—–Delay—gives the illusion of patience and gives the enemy time to refuel—never works for winning.

FOUR—–Divert—make something else the issue, other than the enemy’s stated goal—never works for winning.

FIVE—–Downsize—reduce the military, to be less threatening to the enemy—never works for winning.

SIX—–Apologize—be sorry for strength that offends and makes a target—never works for winning.

SEVEN—–Patronize—appease, be nice, so they will be nice in return—never works for winning.

EIGHT—–Legitimize—sympathize with false reasons for their dissatisfaction—never works for winning.

NINE—–Compromise—not confrontation, make a deal to make them happy—never works for winning.

TEN—–Deny the Obvious—repeat of history does not apply, the world is better now, we don’t have enemies dedicated to killing us, we must avoid war, high-tech will save us—never works for winning.
