TODAY I FEEL LIKE . . .

Today I feel like Texas is not a part of the United States.

Therefore I can skip a lot of rules that have been in place for over a century and a half.

I do not have to obey the rules of the United States or its leaders.

I do not expect anything from the United States.

I do not expect the United States to interfere in any way with what we do in Texas.

I do not expect to owe the United States anything.

I have felt this way for some time—now we are inadvertently validated to act on this feeling, held by many Texans.

And, contrary to the absurdity of the “advisory” mandate today from the administration in Washington to all public school districts, this feeling in Texas is based on common sense, necessity, and freedom.

Finally, I here voice all my support to the good governors of Texas and North Carolina for working together against the disasters the United States is forcing on us.

We will not take it anymore.

GOD BLESS TEXAS—THE LAST BASTION OF FREEDOM IN THE WORLD.

WHAT KIND OF PRAYER DOES GOD HEAR?

Today is the National Day of Prayer, again.

Will it make a difference?

I will attempt to keep this short, to give you something you can remember.

God can hear any kind of prayer.

Prayer does not depend on the prayer as much as it depends on the heart of the person, or nation of persons, praying.

“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

That tells me if you call on God without any pretense of worthiness, God will hear your prayer.

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.”

Take that one step at a time—if trouble hits you, call out, “Jesus.”

Wait for Him to take the second step.

And don’t forget to thank Him.

God uses everything to get our attention.

He loves to hear us call out to Him, however distressed.

THEN, God wants to know how long He will have our attention—meaning, He wants an ongoing relation with each of us.

And that is not complicated—pray often and read the Bible daily, and amazing things will happen in your life.

America is in trouble.

Many Americans are in trouble.

God is eager to hear our cry in this day of trouble.

I don’t know what He will do about America, for America, to America.

But I know what He will do for you—He will change your life if you decide to connect with Him on His terms.

PREPPING IS BIBLICAL

Someone in the Bible spent one hundred years working hard with his family, building a floating bunker for a calamity that had never happened before.

JUST BECAUSE, “GOD TOLD HIM TO”?

Good thing he did, or we wouldn’t be here.

See 4-12-12 “THE WASH.”

PREDICTIONS – – – CONSPIRACY THEORIES – – – IMMINENT INEVITABILITIES ?

There are a lot of opportunities these days to develop outlandish ideas of what will happen next in this uncertain world.

But I have seen a definite shift in people’s reaction to the subject coming up.

Most people are not laughing anymore about making preparations for dramatic changes.

Most people acknowledge that normal life as we know it cannot continue much longer.

I am starting to see the most over-used word change from “absolutely” to “I don’t know.”

It is becoming more difficult to live the dual track of normal going to work every day, and preparing for the day when the tracks diverge and we can’t.

We Americans have trouble comprehending that our prosperity and luxury and ease are the tiny exception to the rule of human history—and to the rest of the world today.

The looming potential of that wonderful life coming to an end is simply too much, to spend time thinking about it.

But people are thinking about it—unless entertainment and biased news keep them drugged a little longer—and that will be the suicidal cool-aid.

Since the beginning of 2016 I have considered making predictions for this year.

For the better part of a year I have felt very strongly that we cannot make it past the summer of 2016 without the intruding evil making a move that dramatically disrupts our lives in America.

Today, I am reviewing this Bible verse over and over, because I have to:

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”

PASSING SHADOW

On Good Friday morning I heard this story twice in one hour on American Family Radio—first by Robert Jeffres, then by Sandy Rios.

A well-known theologian named Barnhouse experienced the devastating loss of his wife.

He was struggling and asking God for something to say to their three small children, now without their mother.

As they were riding in the hearse on the way to the cemetery, a large truck passed, momentarily casting its shadow on them.

God answered the father’s prayer.

He asked his oldest child whether she would rather have them hit by the shadow of the truck or by the truck.

She answered, “The shadow, because it can’t hurt us.”

So there, “the shadow of death” cannot hurt us, if the Lord is our Shepherd.

CRUZ – – – WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE ?

I believe Ted Cruz is the best offer we’ve had in my lifetime.

He is the one true statesman since Ronald Reagan.

Real Americans understand what it means to “bring America back” to what our founders created with great sacrifice and dependence on the Creator.

It costs a lot to gain freedom—sacrifice, blood, lives, passion.

It costs a lot to keep freedom—sacrifice, blood, lives, passion, and vigilance (the hardest during prosperity).

It costs a lot more to lose freedom—trading a “mess of porridge” for promises of security—plus the futile sacrifices of blood, lives, and passion after it is too late.

Ted Cruz clearly understands all this.

We need American voters who understand this now.

“WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE . . . “

Turn this statement of infamy into a meaningful word for thought.

What difference does it make to follow Jesus?

One, you don’t have to lie.

Two, the problems of life are not pointless.

I’m going to leave it at that, for you to think and make your own applications.

Following Jesus does make a difference—all the difference in the world, and then some—more, much more.

GOD’S NOT DEAD 2

I may never have been this passionate about urging everyone to see the movie, God’s Not Dead 2.

I see very few movies in theaters, but I saw this one today.

My keyboard and dictionary do not have what it takes to do justice for reviewing this movie.

Go see it right away, so you have time to tell lots of people about the experience.

And, stick around after the credits.

SANDY HIT A GOOD FRIDAY HOME RUN

If you want a special blessing, go to afr.net and listen to Sandy Rios In The Morning for Good Friday.

GOOD FRIDAY – – – BETTER SUNDAY – – – BEST SOMEDAY

It took all hell breaking loose to defeat all hell and make that Friday “GOOD.”

It took all heaven breaking loose to defeat death and break loose the grave and make that Sunday even “BETTER.”

AND, ALL GLORY TO GOD WILL BUST LOOSE FOR ALL TO SEE, WHEN THE “HELL DEFEATER,” THE “GRAVE DEFEATER,” THE “SIN DEFEATER” RETURNS ON THE “VERY BEST SOMEDAY” ! ! !
