AGREE ?

I’m not asking you to agree—I’m asking you to read, and think.

SIGNS OF BIRTH

Water breaks—someone is getting born.

Heartwater breaks—someone is getting born again.

(“heartwater”—from afr.net)

“COOL” FOR JESUS ?

“We don’t need a cool light show to be effective ambassadors for Christ.”

—–Abraham Hamilton III on AFR

N I C E ?

“We are not called to be nice—we are often called to be confrontational.”

“Nice is not a fruit of the spirit.”

“We should be angry.”

—–Sandy Rios, on AFR

These quotes are taken out of context, but Sandy compels Christians to be involved in our world, and stand up, and stand strong, for what is right and Biblical.  We need the inspiration today.

DESIGNING GOD ? – – – “JUST GOOGLE IT”

Signs of the times.

That’s how we get our answers to everything else nowadays.

So why not find our ‘god answers’ that suit us on the internet as well?

Hold the mouse a minute—no designing God—the only place to find God-truth is in the Bible.

PRAYING, OR ?

Someone sat down close by at a cafe, and I was pleased to see the person bow her head to pray.

But then I realized she was using her cell phone instead.

Oh, I guess you could say she was praying—and it seems most of us give devotion to this god.

MARRIAGE – – – STOP . . . START . . .

“Stop—being married to be happy.

Start—being married to be holy.”

“BUILD THE WALL”

“Come and let’s build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.”—–Nehemiah 2:17

America will continue to be a reproach in the eyes of those who don’t appreciate America, until we build the wall of America.

It’s Biblical.

There is also a wall around the city of heaven, with gates—no entry without the credentials—only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life.

It works—the Bible and the Wall.

AMERICA, TAKE THIS TO THE BANK, PLEASE

A few days ago when I stopped at HEB in Belton, Texas, I noticed a young, courteous, black gentleman (employee) helping an older, white lady with her groceries at her car.

Their conversation showed that he graciously cared about her concerns—I couldn’t catch the details, but I paused to watch and listen, then went into the store.

I waited until he brought the electric grocery cart back, and gave him commendation—“If we duplicated what you just did, enough times, our country wouldn’t have any more problems.”

That may be oversimplifying things, but those few minutes of real, everyday life included so many ingredients that we need today.

I didn’t get his name, but he got affirmed and encouraged by me.

And I’m quite sure that what I saw is often observed in his way of life.

May his tribe increase.

And God bless his parents.

PERSPECTIVES OF SELF-EMPLOYED

When you’re self-employed and don’t have work, you cry the blues.

When you have work (and more and more work), you say, “Is this all there is to life?”
