If Christians today, and Christian leaders today, try to walk a tightrope to avoid negative attention or persecution now, it is very possible they might not be a target for serious persecution later.
Because—if we are not bold to speak about Jesus when the price is small, it is doubtful we will speak boldly for Jesus when the price is high.
What is the price of compatibility ?
But God . . .

COLD CANCELS GREEN—literally.
We just had the record cold week in Texas.
Zero degrees actual temperature in the middle of Texas.
Plus a lot of snow and ice.
Not a solar panel or wind turbine has anything to offer.
Only oil and gas can get Texans warm in this.
And only oil and gas will do so for many decades to come.
And we have plenty of it.
So, Washington, leave Texas to Texans!
American Family Radio is clearly laying out the warning that Christian persecution is coming to America, just as surely as it is real for Christians around the world now, and has been all through history.
Recently a speaker promised he would tell how to prepare for persecution before his program was over.
I listened closely, as the end of the air time grew shorter.
Finally, with less than a minute left, and then less than half a minute, he said, “I Peter.”
Well, I was stuck on I Peter for weeks after that, leaving my Bible open.
Trinity and evolution are not discoveries, but inventions—one by ‘theologians,’ one by ‘scientists.’
The two labels are in quotes because true theologians and true scientists are not supposed to be inventors—their expositions must always come from and revert back to truth and facts, respectively.

1 – – – The trinity as described does not flow from the simple truth (the actual words) of the Bible. And the wordy explanations of the trinity get farther and farther removed from the simple Bible verses about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Just a few examples that make the point, the confusion:
“coeternal”
“coequal”
“consubstantial”
“hypostases”
“substance”
“essence”
“nature”
“___ is ___”
“___ is not ___”
“persons”
“trinity in unity”
“explain trinity, lose your mind—deny trinity, lose your soul”
Big WHOA! on that last one.

I make a clear distinction between
(A) the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit in the Bible, and
(B) the trinity in theological writings.
The two simply do not match, they do not equate.
2 – – – Evolution does not flow from the fossil record or anything ever discovered, as scientific advancements continually confirm.
And every contribution to defending and promoting evolution gets farther away from science (more like depending on philosophy and religion to prop it up)—requiring adding imaginary millions of years, and then billions of years, in desperation, to make room for evolution to be possible and then claim it as a fact.
Speculating complex scientific events millions of years ago is so absurd, that real scientists should run from any connection with it.

We forget those basic foundations (truth and facts) in these two professions, and for 1700 years of the trinity and 160 years of evolution, people have endorsed wholescale what one person in each area proposed.
And now, nobody can let go of the two concepts (trinity and evolution), because such mammoth ideological structures have been built on their accepted validity.
The monolith of trinity keeps ‘theologians’ in control because they have to keep ‘explaining’ the trinity and pushing it on people, to make them avoid simple understanding of God’s Word.
The monolith of evolution keeps ‘scientists’ and educators and philosophers in control because they have to keep ‘explaining’ evolution and pushing it on people, to make them avoid simple accountability to God.

Note (I checked the internet on ‘the trinity’):
“When was the trinity introduced”—31,000,000 responses
“Explain the trinity”—38,000,000 responses
“The trinity”—358,000,000 responses
That looks to me like a colossal disaster—waste of time, for starters.
It makes a whole lot more sense to spend time reading the Bible—and just skip the mountain of confusing, attempted explanations of the manmade term ‘trinity,’ which does absolutely nothing to ‘explain God’ (an oxymoron itself) or bring us closer to Him.
Trinity has become sacred, untouchable—a highly decorated three-sided box for God—an idol itself—worshipped in its ‘high place’ (like the high places of idol worship in the Old Testament).

Just read your Bible—it’s not nearly so confusing—it clearly tells you how to relate to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit—and it tells you God created everything.
Just go with that !

Scientists and Theologians—equal opportunity to call them on the carpet.
WHAT WOULD JESUS DO, IF YOU DID . . . ?

What do you think Jesus would really do if, for one week, you set aside thinking what your husband should do?
What do you think Jesus would really do if, for one week, you gave your husband all of your support across the board, including where you don’t agree with him?
Conservative Christian Politicians sounding a call to resist the new power in Washington with litigation and “hold their feet to the fire,” is like the three Hebrews trying to make Nebuchadnezzar ‘feel the heat’ on legal grounds.
We just passed that point in America.
Actually, God’s people were in that bind because God put them there for turning away from Him.

There is a time when the call to stand, shifts from standing up in order to change the forces in power—to falling down before God in repentance for what got us here.
A realistic look at the current climate would call the people standing for God and freedom to prepare for persecution.
The fiery furnace has already been fired, and we’re not going to stop it.

The time to prepare lawsuits to change the mind and the course of action in Washington, is over.
Get real—they’re laughing at threats against what they are doing (anti-American, anti-Constitutional, anti-God)—“Try to stop us.”

Instead of the church taking (un)marching orders from the government (like the 1930’s church in Germany, like the American church in 2020), we need to seriously identify with Hebrews 11:
+God delivered some in this world, miraculously, throughout the Bible and throughout history.
+”And others, . . .” God delivered others from this world, through all kinds of horrible deaths, to glorious coronation.

Remember, Jesus is forever seated on His throne, at the right hand of the Father, after He completed His work, his horrible suffering and death.
But, remember this—Jesus gets up from His throne to give a personal standing ovation for each Christian faithful in martyrdom.

I am usually reluctant to add one more formula for family and parenting, but this one is too perfect to not pass on.
If parents use this consistently any time both mother and father are present, it carries the authority through other times.

Mother says, “Johnny, set the table for supper.” (Say the child’s name first, then the command.)
Mother waits ten seconds for Johnny’s physical response and verbal response, “OK, Mother.”
With Johnny’s response, Mother says, “Johnny, we are glad you are obeying.” Father hears that, and Johnny knows Father hears that. (If Father is not home, he will hear this when he gets home.)
Without Johnny’s timely response, Mother says, “Frank (Father), I told Johnny to set the table for supper, and he is not obeying me.” (Other times, Mother simply waits after Father gets home and says, “Frank, I told Johnny to set the table for supper, and he did not obey me.”)
Mother says nothing more, and does nothing—she doesn’t have to.
Father looks at Johnny, silently, for five seconds, with no other action.
With Johnny’s immediate physical response and verbal response, “Mother, I’m sorry I did not obey you,” Father says, “Johnny, it is good that you decided to obey Mother.”
Without Johnny’s immediate response, Father gets up, silently, walks over to Johnny, takes him by the hand, and walks with Johnny to another room.
Father administers appropriate discipline, as communicated clearly, by both parents together, ahead of time, for any situation of disobeying Mother.
THEN, Father speaks to Johnny with words—words that carry all the love and weight of God-given authority, just confirmed by action beyond any doubt for Johnny.
This works, and takes care of the heart of respect and discipline, because it is Biblical.
Reason as a child.

“When I was a child, I reasoned as a child. When I became a man, I put away childish things.”

A time comes when we no longer reason as a child—when one becomes a man/woman.
If we never get that, we can never reason successfully with a child.

So, how and when does a man (a father, a mother) reason WITH a child?
How does a parent reason with a child?

—reason as a child?
How?
Reason as a man (adult), with or without the child’s comprehension, understanding, or agreement.
Consistent, TIMELY discipline works wonders on the above three (comprehension, understanding, agreement), at any age.

Very, very, very critically important ! ! !
Reason with a child ahead of time—before the need arises for timely obedience or consequences for the lack thereof.

Reasoning with a child at the time of disrespect, demonstrated through disobedience, is child abuse.
