“APOLOGIZE TO OBAMA” (Cal Thomas) ? ? ?

I don’t see any reason to apologize to BHOB* for anything, especially Cal Thomas calling for Ben Carson to apologize for his message at the presidential prayer breakfast.

The direct parallel would be George Washington and company apologizing to King George of England, and they did a lot more than a speech.

Ben Carson did exactly what our founding fathers did when they declared our independence, fought for our freedom, and wrote our Constitution.  He gave simplified, Biblical principles that started our great country, that blessed our godly country, and, if abandoned, that will destroy our beloved country.  (Oh, I remember, BHOB* wants to destroy this country so all countries will be equal.  To which I say, “All men are created equal,” but not all countries are created equal, and not all forms of government are created equal)

Cal, just maybe, you and all the other conservative commentators of today have had too many years of successful, secure jobs talking and writing, without any real sacrifice like those who wrote and signed their names to “pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor” (and made good on that pledge at extreme cost), so we can write and say what we think.

Don’t give BHOB* a little finger—he’s already taken the whole hand.

STOCK MARKET – – – VALENTINES DAY

“She loves me – – – She loves me not – – – She loves me – – – She loves me not . . . ”

It never did me much good plucking the petals off of sunflowers when I was growing up on the farm, but I did it anyway.  I guess it did keep the dream alive, and I have known love for real, and also . . .

I don’t know how old I was when I first noticed the reporting of stock market fluctuations become a daily news item.  My paper degree is not in finance, but even back then I thought it strange that people would hover over the daily financial flip-flops that their life depended on, like a daily tracking of an unstable and volatile love relationship, and reacting accordingly.

I conclude that business, finance, and love depend on commitment for the long haul, not jumping in and out with every up and down.

She loves me – – – She loves me not – – – is for the birds – – – or, I guess, the flowers.

But then again, Jesus said to take an example from the birds and the flowers, and not to worry.

I guess that means not to worry about money, or love.

HOW ARE YOU WIRED ?

“God has wired us in such a way that we don’t work without Him.”

VALENTINES DAY 2013

” L O V E   N E V E R   F A I L S “

PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER BREAKFAST

Two in a row with a message to bring America back, again.

Eric Metaxas was the speaker last year.

Ben Carson was the speaker this year.

The Guest of Honor was honored far above the one who lives in the White House.

He can never say he didn’t hear the words needed for America’s soul, and the words needed for his own soul.

Every American, including you and me, would do well to listen to the message, including, yet far above, the issues that fill the news and consume our time and energy.

It’s easy to find on the internet.  Will you find the time?

FEELING GOOD ABOUT FAILURE ?

01)  Education

02)  Finance

03)  Politics

04)  BHOB*

01)  Education – – Several years ago there was an education statistic that showed America trailing behind most industrialized countries in academics.  BUT, we scored at the very top in how our students felt about their performance.  FEELING GOOD ABOUT FAILURE ?

02)  Finance – – If you didn’t feel good when you buy something you don’t need with a credit card, you wouldn’t go deeper in debt.  Same with national credit card.  FEELING GOOD ABOUT FAILURE ? ?

03)  Politics – – Politicians promise.  We like what they say.  We send them to Washington.  They get disabled.  They go on welfare.  They like it.  They want to stay.  They lie.  We forget.  They promise again.  We like what they say . . .  Repeat.  FEELING GOOD ABOUT FAILURE ? ? ?

04)  BHOB* – – The brilliant, divine master of charm and speeches and promises (aka reruns) has again outdone himself, making Americans feel good about his failure. The messiah, our savior, our daddy in Washington is a miracle worker—we believe him, we trust him, we do what he says because we know he’ll take care of us.  We feel good when he speaks, and that makes the problems go away.  FEELING GOOD ABOUT FAILURE ? ? ? ?

SOMEDAY, soon, when the dictatorship kicks in with full force, BHOB*’s worshipers will not feel good about the failure.

Marco Rubio immediately discredited the label “savior” referring to him, properly stating there is only one Savior, Jesus.  God Bless you for that, Senator Rubio.  BHOB* has accepted all public, divine accolades by not denying them.

Simple formula for a rising dictator:

“Tell the people a lie often enough, and they will believe it is the truth”

.     —–Adolf Hitler (it worked for him)

Tell the people that failure is success.  And keep telling them to feel good about it.

.     —–Barack Hussein Obama (it’s working for him)

“BHOB* is the most transparent liar ever to aspire to dictatorship.”  (from yesterday’s article “OBAMA CARES ?” before the state of the union speech)

*Barack Hussein OBama—Say BHHHOB aloud and it sounds like the warning for Christians in the 2008 election:  “Beware of sheep’s clothing.”

“OBAMA CARES”

BHOB* cares alright.

BHOB* cares about every American.

BHOB* cares about every illegal immigrant.

BHOB* cares about every Muslim.

BHOB* cares about every Muslim country.

BHOB* cares about equality.

BHOB* cares about fairness.

BHOB* cares about transparency.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

BHOB* cares alright.

.          —–BHOB* cares about BHOB*, and he’s doing a great job at that.

BHOB* cares about every American.

.          —–BHOB* will “take care of” us from cradle to grave . . .

.          —– . . . from pre-cradle, if anything is “wrong” with you.

.          —– . . . to grave, early, if anything is “wrong” with you.

.          —– . . . in between, five hollow-point rounds reserved for you, if anything . . .

BHOB* cares about every illegal immigrant.

.          —–BHOB* welcomes anyone who supports his destruction of America.

BHOB* cares about every Muslim.

.          —–BHOB* praises their religion—shuns Christianity and Judaism.

BHOB* cares about every Muslim country.

.          —–BHOB* openly chooses to support their advances.

BHOB* cares about equality.

.          —–BHOB* has to destroy America to make all nations equal.

BHOB* cares about fairness.

.          —–BHOB* says he can do better than Robin Hood, faster, absolutely.

BHOB* cares about transparency.

.          —–BHOB* is the most transparent liar ever to aspire to dictatorship.

(Note:  This was written before the state of the union speech.)

INFERTILE GAYS BUY A BABY

What percentage of gay couples are infertile?

100% of gay couples are incapable of making a baby, ever.

Why?

Because it takes a man and a woman to make a baby.

Because it takes a father and a mother to raise a child.*

Because God made it so.

Because God said so.

*My heart and my prayers for single parents, raising children alone and not by choice.

OPEN LETTER TO CONGRESS

Impeach the “president” now, or resign your position.

It is now—or never.

PASS IT ON – – – WHAT IS “IT”

In the past every American family, every American community, every American church, every American school, everyone knew there was a package that we valued and that we vowed to pass on intact to the next generation.

And we did it.  There was something stable and consistent from one generation to the next.  You could ask almost anyone, even dissenters to the culture, and they would know what was in the package.  Individually and collectively we stood for something, and we made absolutely certain that our children knew what it was.

What was it?

and

Does it exist today?

The package was simple but deep, solid and constant, and relevant.  Everyone knew what was expected of him, and most people fulfilled that expectation.  Children learned at an early age what was right and wrong, and they saw that everybody agreed on what was right and wrong, making it hard to get away with wrong.

Responsibility, hard work, education, faith, and sacrifice for others made the family strong and the community strong and the country strong.  And everyone knew they could count on everyone else to fight off any intrusion that might weaken what they believed in and agreed upon.

“Little House On The Prairie” and “Love Comes Softly” and “The Waltons” are not fairy tales and made-up dreams, but instead they capture for us the heart and soul of the way it was in this country.  If these stories idolize the ideal, they accurately reflect the courage and persistence that dreamed up this country in the first place, and kept it going and expanding against all odds and all enemies.

What we feel when we watch these pioneers of the past, is the central ingredient of “it” in the title of this piece.  “It” was passed on through families—strongholds—fortresses against every evil.  They worked harder than we do, but they did not let busy-ness and stuff and unwholesome entertainment pull their families apart.

Now, does “it” exist today?

Yes, it does, if . . .

If you feel something good when you see the American flag.

If you feel something good when you hear “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

If you feel something good when you see a family together.

If you feel something good when you open your Bible.

If you feel something good when you see someone in military uniform.

If you feel something good when you see movies like the above.

If you feel something bad when you watch anything that’s not good for you.

If you feel something bad when someone you know goes the wrong direction.

If you feel something strongly enough to make a difference in someone’s life when it is not convenient.

If you feel something strongly enough to right a wrong because you know right from wrong.

If you feel something strongly enough to still take time with God and time with a young person.

If you believe we can recapture what we had in this country, then we still have “it”.

Then “it” does exist today.

Then we can pass “it” on again.

It’s up to you and me.
