GUN CONTROL – – – CONSTITUTIONAL

There are four constitutional rules for gun control.

ONE—You, an American, must own a gun.

TWO—You, an American, must be in possession of your gun.

THREE—You, an American, must have your gun loaded.

FOUR—You, an American, must have sufficient gun control when you use it, to stop a bad guy or a bad government trying to hurt you or your family or your free country.

WE DON’T NEED TO GO TO WAR

We don’t need to go to war.

War is coming to us, literally.

And now it is our enemies who are saying,

“We have not yet begun to fight.”

Read about John Paul Jones, American ship captain in the Revolutionary War, who first said that line.

And then he tied his sinking ship to the enemy ship so they could keep fighting and win.

IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE—IT CAN HAPPEN HERE

No one wants to talk about it.

No one knows how to prepare.

American Christians, learn from the Iraqi Christians, the Syrian Christians, the Egyptian Christians, the Iranian Christians, the Sudanese Christians, the . . .

Prepare for the same.

Watch and pray, together.

And pray some more.

Pray for all those Christians facing persecution and those facing martyrdom.

They will soon be praying for us.

And pray for American pastors to speak boldly what really counts, while our freedom to do so remains, but uncertain.

YOU KNOW YOU’VE MET A REAL TEXAN . . .

(These were going to be spread out in serial form, but you probably need to hear them all at once in progressive sequence.)

#1  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

He greets the August heat with, “Ah, this is why I live in Texas.”

(may be stretching it a bit when the heat lingers through September—updated 9-20-15)

#2  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

His views on citizenship and immigration are very clear:

+GOD

+GUNS

+FENCE

+FRIENDSHIP

+ENGLISH*

+EARN**

If you want to join us, believe all this, become a Texan.

*We can forgive you if you can’t speak Texan because you weren’t born here, but native Texans (and new) speak English.

**That means WORK.  In Texas you can sweat without working, but you can’t work without sweating.

Note:  Except for a fence on the south, these views apply to immigration across any Texas border.

And, we practice what we preach on all the above.

#3  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

His t-shirt says:

“SECEDE?    Y’all are lucky we don’t invade”

#4  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

His political position is crystal clear and passionately positive:

“I would rather die fighting for the Republic of Texas than helplessly watch the United States of America surrender to Islam.”

#5  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

He believes it is time for Texas to close our embassy in Washington and expel all U.S. “diplomats” from our country.

#6  You know you’ve met a real Texan . . .

He recognizes and accepts the responsibility that Texas may be the last bastion of freedom in the world.

YEA, TED ! ! !

Ted Cruz had a conference call with over 100,000 pastors, urging them to pray and preach against the evil, the horror, of abortion and Planned Parenthood.

That is something God will pay attention to.

N O W

Now doesn’t last.

Don’t try to save it.

Don’t try to duplicate it.

Use it, spend it, live it.

Everything is now, or never.

Whatever you do now requires sacrificing everything else you could do now.

So choose wisely.

Ask God for wisdom now.

Do not be double minded now, about now.

“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

“Proceed, but don’t worry.”

And be thankful for now.

It’s all you’ve got.

“God, Help Us”

or

“Government, Help Us”

So what does it mean to “help” us or “save” us?

Governments save anything that will keep them in power.  “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help you.”

God saves anyone, like me, who humbly and honestly asks Him to forgive my sin and let Jesus be Lord of my life.  Then He promises to help me through everything in this life.

TELL IT LIKE IT IS

I thank God for Donald Trump saying what needs to be said*—I just wish he would do the same.

*except for his mushy definition of social conservatism

“IF YOU LIKE YOUR _________ , YOU CAN KEEP IT” ? ? ?

“If you like your health care, you can keep it.”

—I like health care without health insurance—especially without government health insurance—and I expect to keep it.

2012—“If you like your liar president, you can keep him another four years.”

—He never was my president, and I never called him president.

2016—“If you like your tyrannical president, you can keep him forever as dictator.”

—History repeats, and the people suffer, including the righteous remnant.

Now a couple quotes from Gov. Bobby Jindal:

After reviewing his family’s immigration heritage, the governor said how wonderful it is to live in this country where anyone can be elected President.  “Unfortunately, in 2008 and 2012 we found out just how true that is.”

And the foreboding, prophetic winner with words into BHOB*’s mouth, “If you like your religious freedom, you can keep it.”

We may as well hear BHOB* say, “We achieved our goal in two steps—a Post-Christian America, then a Post-America World.

*BHOB—Barack Hussein OBama—Say BHHHOB aloud and it sounds like the warning for Christians in the 2008 election: “Beware of sheep’s clothing.”

WIRED TO WORRY – – – PROGRAMMED TO PRAY

I am naturally wired to seriously worry.

God’s software programs me to pray.

To overcome worry, I have to run His software often.

“Don’t worry about anything;

Instead, pray about everything.”
