“CAST ALL YOUR CARES . . .”

“Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.”

That verse always sounded like a peaceful prayer, quietly relaxing to show that you are turning everything over to God.

Maybe so, but that doesn’t fit my reality very often.  It seems like another requirement to get in just the right faith mode before God, so you can show you’ve let your troubles go.

More likely—a desperate scream for help at wits end does the job better.

“GOD HELP!”

“I CAN’T DO THIS!”

Not pretty—not to show others we got it all together.

Brutal honesty—total dependency—so God can take over.

SWEET, SWEET TIME WITH JESUS

If you’ve ever had a warm, special interaction with your child on your lap, and then noticed the precious one was asleep, then you can catch what a sweet, sweet time with Jesus is like.

If you fall asleep talking with Jesus (praying and reading your Bible), you’ve experienced the best of the best here on earth.

“GOD BLESS AMERICA”

God bless America, land that I love.

Stand beside her, and guide her

Through this night with a light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans white with foam,

God bless America, my home sweet home (temporarily).

EXTRA-BIBLICAL “CHRISTIANITY”

Catholicism—continually add something to the Bible for Catholics to follow.

Denominations—emphasize what makes them unique with apparent exclusive corner on truth.

Near Death Experiences—impressive individual experience must be the way to follow.

David Brackin—friend, gone, claimed a personal meeting with Jesus, but the Bible is junk.

Mormonism—their leader got the only correct revelation from God.

Jehovah’s Witness—their leader got the only correct revelation from God.

Islam—their leader got the only correct revelation from God (don’t claim Christianity).

Chrislam—invent impossible common ground between Christianity and Islam.

‘Christian’ Yoga—claim the rituals have no spiritual impact.

“I believe . . .”—free to come up with anything, and expect God to be okay with it.

‘Christian’ lgbt—conveniently bypass everything that does not approve, endorse the lifestyle.

Just Love—selectively exclude sin, confession, repentance.

“PERSONAL” TESTIMONY

Ask people to share their spiritual conversion experience.

Divide their responses into two categories.

One—Jesus, the Word of God, the Bible is central to their testimony—consistent with other Christians’ experience.

Two—Doing what the church (or some variation thereof) told them to do is central to their testimony—unique to following their particular, stated religious brand.

Repeat from previous articles:

It will become harder to be a Christian, but it will become easier to clearly tell who is a Christian.

IS BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE POLITICAL?

Biblical perspective is directly opposite the democrat platform of today.

Biblical perspective is directly opposite most democrats of today.

Biblical perspective is directly opposite all the democrat presidential candidates of today.

In most cases there is an lgbt required endorsement for a democrat to hold office or run for office.

Biblical perspective is also becoming increasingly unwelcome in business.

Biblical perspective is even becoming marginalized and silenced in the church.

Inclusion has fooled nearly everyone by concealing the politically correct working definition.

Now, inclusion means mandatorily including lgbt and militantly excluding Christianity.

And “abortion is a sacred right”*—the sacrament** of the prevailing religion of sex and tolerance.

Is Biblical Perspective Political?

Biblical Perspective is not ambiguous.

Biblical Perspective is Biblical.

Culture and politics react to Biblical Perspective, when it is proclaimed and practiced, but they do not change Biblical Truth.

**sacrament—commemorating or practicing a sacrifice of life

EVERYBODY’S “TIRED”

It seems like one after another of my friends have been complaining of being tired lately.

Then I understood that it’s a coordinated spiritual oppression—a prelude to persecution.

The enemy of our souls tries to make us feel alone, weak, to divide and then to conquer.

The antidote, our response is to share and declare opposition.

Take a stand in advance against the unseen evil forces working on us—in advance of visible spiritual warfare.

! ! ! CELEBRATE AMERICA ! ! !

I would love to write such a moving piece from my heart about the wonder of America, that millions would read it and rally around American exceptionalism and drown out the naysayers.

I’ve had enough of those trying to trash America and take us backward to bad times, or plunge us headlong into certain disaster with reckless abandonment of everything that made us great.

Like the writers in the American Revolution, I want to inspire everyone who loves this country to rise up and be heard, loudly, now.

We have so very much to be thankful for in this country right now, that criticisms of America itself have to be manufactured, with lies repeated over and over to get people to believe them.

Enough, already!

Tell everybody you know that America is great again—let’s celebrate America.

We can work on any problems that remain, but don’t throw away America—the very best thing that ever happened to any people in all of human history.

If this resonates with anyone reading or hearing it, don’t be silent anymore, don’t be apologetic, don’t be afraid of intimidation or criticism, don’t let another day go by without influencing someone to keep America what it was meant to be.

Don’t Mess With America!

America—243 years unparalleled.

America’s foundation cannot be improved upon.

America gave us freedom.

America gave us opportunity.

America gave the world relief from disaster and oppression, unselfishly.

America is on target today, right where we need to be—proven by the intensified attacks on the very things that are right with America.

Stand up and defeat those attacks anywhere you see or hear them.

Let’s keep America.

Let’s defend America.

Let’s thank God for America.

BE THAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN

Be the kind of Christian that others can confide in—sharing the good, bad, and ugly in their lives.

Be willing to do the same with them.

Then you can have an open door to share Jesus with those who don’t know Him.

Then you can practice giving and receiving encouragement with those who do know Jesus.

We all need reminders to practice what we already know about the promises in the Bible.

And, observing the rapid increase of hostility toward Christians around the world and in America, we will need the support of each other more than ever.

It is going to be harder to be a Christian, but it will be clearer to tell who is a Christian.

Let us each decide now to draw the line clearly for authentic Christianity, personally.

Intentionally build close relationships with other Christians, to not live in fear about the future, to not despair when it comes.

WORRY / TRUST

Do you depend on God before you have trouble?

Do you declare trust in God as soon as trouble comes?

Or:

Do you worry until you can see how things are going to work out?
