CHAIN OF COMMAND – – – HOME EDITION

I am usually reluctant to add one more formula for family and parenting, but this one is too perfect to not pass on.
If parents use this consistently any time both mother and father are present, it carries the authority through other times.

Mother says, “Johnny, set the table for supper.” (Say the child’s name first, then the command.)
Mother waits ten seconds for Johnny’s physical response and verbal response, “OK, Mother.”
With Johnny’s response, Mother says, “Johnny, we are glad you are obeying.” Father hears that, and Johnny knows Father hears that. (If Father is not home, he will hear this when he gets home.)
Without Johnny’s timely response, Mother says, “Frank (Father), I told Johnny to set the table for supper, and he is not obeying me.” (Other times, Mother simply waits after Father gets home and says, “Frank, I told Johnny to set the table for supper, and he did not obey me.”)
Mother says nothing more, and does nothing—she doesn’t have to.
Father looks at Johnny, silently, for five seconds, with no other action.
With Johnny’s immediate physical response and verbal response, “Mother, I’m sorry I did not obey you,” Father says, “Johnny, it is good that you decided to obey Mother.”
Without Johnny’s immediate response, Father gets up, silently, walks over to Johnny, takes him by the hand, and walks with Johnny to another room.
Father administers appropriate discipline, as communicated clearly, by both parents together, ahead of time, for any situation of disobeying Mother.
THEN, Father speaks to Johnny with words—words that carry all the love and weight of God-given authority, just confirmed by action beyond any doubt for Johnny.
This works, and takes care of the heart of respect and discipline, because it is Biblical.

The very day they crossed into the promised land, the manna stopped.

+most powerful proof—no greater expression of support for Israel, than moving our embassy to Jerusalem

+US economy boomed—Iran busted
+”in you all nations on earth will be blessed”
+other nations got the message—by example, by direct negotiation assistance—and joined Israel in droves
+”he who is not for me is against me”
+getting harder to be a Christian in America
+getting easier to tell who is a Christian in America (the ones getting attacked)
+lines drawn—love America—hate America (Jeremiah Wright, hero to new Senator Warnock-D-GA, cursed America from the pulpit with Obama in the audience)
+lines drawn—love Jesus (love his followers)—hate Jesus (hate his followers)

Jesus promised that His followers would experience the same opposition that He did.
“they persecuted me; they will persecute you”
And that explains the parallels partially listed above, between Jesus and Trump—
+why Jesus was so hated for doing God’s Will,
+why Trump was so hated for doing God’s Will,
AND, why everyone committed to following Jesus will be hated for doing God’s Will.
THE NEW ‘ADMINISTRATION’

It will soon become apparent that the term ‘administration’ will not accurately refer to the new government in Washington.
Administrations have come and gone in this country for centuries—some with a yawn, some with severe rhetoric, always with the assumption that change is possible, and the pendulum would always swing back from the brink—because this is America, with a Constitution that works, and because God honors what pleases Him.
But when the leadership openly rejects and blasphemes God and His people, there comes a time when God cuts the cable, and the pendulum comes crashing down with destruction, with no return.
HELLFIRE AND DAMNATION?

Do preach on militant promotion of lgbt.
OR ELSE—or else we’ll have to ‘take care of you,’ and problems like you.

Well, there is a place east of the Mediterranean that directly applies to this subject.
It’s 1300 feet below sea level—lowest land on earth.
It has water, but no life—super-concentrated salt water.
At one time it was thriving, just like America.
It also had the philosophies above, and practiced them militantly, as mentioned above.
Don’t object, or you won’t exist—both places.

And they too thought they were “on the right side of history”—and ended up on the bottom side of history, literally.

Are we so accustomed to saying words, and even quoting the Word, like we know we’re supposed to—that we fail to find the fresh application of the Word of God to the dark days ahead.
What is coming is so foreign to us that all our easy answers for easy times, may fail many of us in sudden hard times.
For many centuries the church withheld the Bible from the common people. When they lost that grip of control, the Reformation transformed the people and transformed the world—because they read God’s Word for themselves.
Today the church has withheld from the people the hard parts of the Christian life, presented and promised throughout the Bible.
Persecution is not popular.
We can no longer expect a pass.
We will see the only path to power.
We will be driven to the Word when the rest is burned away.
PERSONAL WORD TO THE OTHER SIDE (one of two)

Interactions with individuals I know personally force me to articulate my positions as clearly as possible, to everyone.
January 6 has come and gone, and January 20, 2021 is here, but the issues before us are not behind us.

Just a couple examples from yesterday—antifa sent instructions to their people to infiltrate the Trump rally with violence, so Trump and his supporters would be blamed.
It worked.
Those instructions were quickly removed by facebook and twitter, along with Trump’s final words to the crowd yesterday, so you would not know.
The media and the rest of the left have done a perfect job of convincing you that there is only one way to look at everything that is happening—including sweeping the voter fraud facts into the trash.
My words to you here are not just more ongoing debate, to trigger another retort, and another, from you.
Your words reveal your deep-seated vitriol that leaves no room to hear anything else.

“REJOICE WITH ME, THIS, MY SON WAS . . .”

Jesus’ parable still holds true today, in countless families and individuals.
Some people get to experience the joyful ending, with the words,
“This, my son, was lost and is found—was dead and is alive.”
However, we have proudly added an atrocious distortion, publicly—
“Rejoice with me, for this, my son, was alive, and is now dead—was created, and is now destroyed.”
So sad, so wicked, so many people in places of prominence, actually take pride in rejoicing over the death of our babies who were alive, and are now dead.
With no remorse—with no apology—with no satisfaction—with never enough—with insatiable, religious fervor demanding more and more of the same.
We forget the ending—BUT GOD . . . !
