SENIOR CERTAINTIES (2)

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.”

SENIOR CERTAINTIES (1)

Just the facts – – – and – – – something positive.

Learning something new—Limited.

Sharing what I’ve got—Unlimited.

HORRIFIC BABY KILLERS ! ! !

Pharoah killed babies.
Herod killed babies.
Biden kills babies.
Democrats kill babies.

Moses escaped.
Jesus escaped.
You escaped.
I escaped.

Millions did not escape.
Millions do not escape now !

We must save other babies.

“If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.
Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
If you say, ‘Surely we did not know this,’ Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?”

What does it cost you, me, to save babies ?

“You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood, striving against sin.”

“This kind [of demons] don’t come out except by praying and fasting.”

GOD MADE IT HOLY – – – WE KEEP IT HOLY

“In six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day.
And so the Lord blessed the sabbath, and made it holy.”

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

None of the ten commandments, given in the Old Testament, were ever minimized in the New Testament.
The church worshiped on Sunday (instead of Saturday) because Jesus rose from the grave on Sunday.

God made the sabbath holy by resting on the day after He finished creation.
We keep the sabbath holy by resting on the day after we do our work.
Jesus verified this by saying, “The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.”
This one commandment is specifically to benefit us, and in doing so, please Him.

A little addendum by God when He gave the commandment (not the addendums-s-s-s piled on by zealous religious leaders):
“Work six days and do everything you need to do. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to GOD, your God. Don’t do any work—not you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your animals [interesting], not even the foreign guest visiting in your town.”

We glorify God when we obey—and REST—His command, His instruction to take care of His creation, us, our body and mind.

“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit (mind), which are God’s.”

“I urge you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

We “sacrifice our bodies” and “renew our mind” by spending time with God every day–AND by resting our body and mind one day every seven days.

HIJACKING ‘TRANS’ – – – IT’S OBVIOUS

We need a survey to prove or disprove the following projection—

My guess is that well over 90% of males using the claim of transgender to get into women’s bathrooms, dressing rooms, locker rooms, and showers, are not dealing with issues of transgender themselves.
They are hijacking a perverted movement into the greatest opportunity ever to experience the thrills of bringing sexual desires into real-life, real-time fantasies—WITH IMPUNITY [like never before].

Likewise, the policymakers fabricating, and the media proliferating this fictitious, celebrated tsunami of indulgence are accomplishing their goal of destroying the foundation of civilization—while enjoying the freedom to talk openly about sex—WITHOUT RESTRAINT ! !—WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY ! !

IN 2025

In 2025 I will
— complain less
— explain less
— thank more*
— praise more*
— say it more, aloud

*And that would be, “Thank You, Jesus—Praise the Lord !”
The saddest day for atheists (and those who live like them) is Thanksgiving.
They have to feel satisfied, full, and maybe even thankful.
But they can’t thank God (against their ‘religion’)—and He provided everything they enjoy.

LEST WE FORGET

As I was singing The Battle Hymn Of The Republic yesterday at Church In The Park, the gravity of the words hit home to me—for THEN, and for NOW, as well as for SOMEDAY.
– – –
SOMEDAY, Judgment Day, The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord—Like “lightning unloosed”, like stomping out grapes in a vat before sorting out the juice and the pulp in the “winepress”, God’s “grapes of wrath” will “trample out” justice that all creation has been waiting for, for six thousand years.

“God’s mills grind slowly,
But they grind exceeding small.
While with patience He may linger
Yet in justice He grinds all.”

God will right all that’s wrong—all evil and evildoers will be judged, and be sent to hell.
Too late for mercy—too late to beg for mercy.

“Now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation.”

– – –

THEN, Slavery, Civil War—God’s “grapes of wrath” over American slavery, stored up for only so long—He personally “stomped them out” in the “vintage” (the vat) and “loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword”—blood shed across America, by Americans, by God ?
What caused the Civil War ?
Where was God ?
God showed up, with justice, and we paid the terrible price.
? Once and for all ?

– – –

[I saved “for now” for last, to draw attention to where we are today]
NOW, X X X America’s National Sin X X X, Judged—A thousand times worse than slavery—Consequences (God’s judgment) worse than civil war—“stored up wrath” of God, scary beyond comprehension—No wonder God wiped out the Canaanites, with ‘innocent’ casualties, by command—
What for ?
For heinous murders of babies, sacrificed to ‘gods’.
Sixty million babies murdered in America, sacrificed to _____, AND IT ISN’T STOPPING ! ! !
Abortion is the worst of the worst in human history, and we forget God’s just judgment.
BUT GOD does not forget, HE has not forgotten, HE will not let this go, HE will not leave this alone.

We got a reprieve in the 2016 election.
We got a reprieve in the 2022 SCOTUS overturn of Roe.
We got a reprieve in the 2024 election.

And yet—
” ‘A house divided against itself cannot stand.’
I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave and half free.”
—–Abraham Lincoln

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
I believe this government cannot endure permanently half death and half life.

– – –

Read this now, slowly, in light of the above:

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored.
He has loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword.
His Truth is marching on.

SENIOR MOMENT/OXYMORONS (7)

I modified my all-time best oxymoron to a cold, hard fact of getting older, with issues.
And every time I share this with people, they “get it.”

Original oxymoron, from decades ago—
Occasional outbursts of consistency.

And now, fitting this time of life—
Occasional outbursts of reality.

IT’S EMPTY

“Here, Mom; take this, it’s empty.”
—–Bill and Gloria Gaither’s daughter,
when she was finally ready to give up her pacifier.

The parents had tried unsuccessfully to take it away when they thought it was overdue—and they gave up, wisely.
Bill makes the application to Americans’ search for meaning in places that are empty.

SENIOR MOMENT/OXYMORONS (5)

Seems that more and more, your ideas and contributions get overruled.
You can get in trouble, easily get depressed, if you let that get to you.
Phase out the relationships with people that negate what you say, that negate what you have to offer, that negate who you are, intentionally or not.
Make a goal to find people, young and old, who respect you and what you have to say—who appreciate your wisdom.
Remember that the tsunami of stuff coming at us faster and faster—information, entertainment, animation, sales, invitations, instant gratification, high pressure presentations, hidden agendas, dangerous ploys, traps, . . .—is not what counts, really—and you have what does count—what you learned slowly over a lifetime.
That gives you sanity as well as sadness when you see others settling for less, for nothing but sensory overload—so they can’t even live.
Others need to see you content, not competing with “stuff”.
And when you do have a chance, share your wisdom.
