NO MORE – NO MORE

“No more compromise.
No more wasted days.”

“BRACE FOR IMPACT”

Frank Gaffney—founder of Center for Security Policy—host of Securing America daily on afr.net 10:00 PM Central Time—“an owner’s manual for protecting the country we love. We help you assess the risks for America, recognize its enemies, and figure out what we can do about them, to the glory of God and His Kingdom.”

Secure Freedom Minute June 20, 2024:
“Half-a-world apart, two imminent conflicts are on the cusp of going critical. Communist China apparently is prepared to have Hezbollah – the foreign legion of its Mideast proxy, Iran – engage in a full-on war with Israel. And the Chinese military is itself now physically attacking Philippine vessels at a place called Second Thomas Shoal.

The United States has a direct interest in both of these crises. Our allies are under assault by their mortal enemies – and ours. Our priority should be on deterring further violence from being inflicted on America’s friends. The most sure way to accomplish that is for the United States to stand firmly alongside them.

Instead, the Biden administration has done everything possible to appease Iran’s mullahs and undermine Israel. And instead of visibly demonstrating solidarity with the Filipinos, it has been largely AWOL.

Brace for impact.”

REPEAT – HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?

WHEN THE HISTORY BOOKS ARE WRITTEN (on this site) gives the clear spiritual understanding of the time we’re in now. Read it. Take it to heart.
This article addresses the political perspective only, and reveals the limitations of historical without spiritual.

American exceptionalism is obvious to any objective reading of history.
There are dozens of ways this country broke all records of everything amazing.
Now, as the current internal and international disasters put our future in jeopardy, the question is,
“Will American exceptionalism carry us through this darkest night in our 250 years, to defy all odds for survival—or not ?”

We have (or had?) the most amazing Constitution ever created by man, and it works!!!
Now we apply it selectively, with predictable results.

The democratic process led us to success and prosperity, which inevitably leads countries to apathy, complacency, dependence, and bondage.
That repeat of history is the odds to defy.

We have lost sight of, and the memory of,
“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.”

What brings us back ?
Renewal of strength inside, with convictions.

That strength builds a readiness for action to restore our freedom now, like it did to gain our freedom 250 years ago.
Restoring freedom now will cost no less than gaining freedom then.

Voting works only as long as our enemies know we are willing and ready to use our guns to restore a wayward government.

“Enemies foreign and domestic”
Domestic terrorists are not those labeled and surveilled as such, but those casting the accusations.
The enemies within are running the government with full intent of running it into the ground, into history.
So far, we don’t know how to deal with them.
Time is running out.
– – –
We will pay the high price of freedom, or we will pay the much higher price of losing freedom.

WHEN THE HISTORY BOOKS ARE WRITTEN

History records the rise and fall of people and nations.
And if we don’t try to avoid the factual record, we can read that history records the parallel patterns of why they fell.

Germany’s downfall into nazism is not a mystery or an anomaly.
The church lost their conviction to stand for right and stand against wrong.*
The church dropped the ball.
The church compromised.
The church thought they could be compatible with evil.
Hitler put his hand on the shoulder of church leaders and promised that he would take care of them (literally, in a meeting, in person).
He ‘took care of them’ alright—and the church was never a threat to his plan after that.
Because it was too late.

– – –

When the history books are written on America, they will show the parallels between the German church of the 1930’s and the American church today.
Evil abounds and evil grows in the culture and in leadership, and the church is watching it happen at best, and unaware at worst.

No matter, the last obstacle to overcome, for evil to completely take over, is now crumbling in complacency.
The church in America could make the difference again, even at this late hour in America’s history—but the church is too comfortable in America with the way it is !

So, what is going to happen ?
God’s full judgment, restrained so far, for the prayers of a faithful remnant, will fall on America now, in full horror.
God’s people, His true followers, will no longer pray for God to bless America or for God to save America.
Christians (for real) will suffer severely, soon.
We don’t have guaranteed promises of escape.
We do have guaranteed promises that He will be with us through the most difficult time of our life.

And, God may give us unexpected opportunities to share our eternal hope in Jesus with so many in despair without hope.

HIGHER THOUGHTS, HIGHER AFFECTIONS

+ His purposes, His ways, His thoughts are “higher than our thoughts.”
+ He wants our attention, our faithfulness, not our performance—faithful in our home, faithful in our work.
+ “As our days, so will our strength be.”
FIRST, He gives another day.
THEN, He gives the strength, the discernment (for today, not tomorrow).
+ “Set your affections on things above, . . .”
Heavenly affections—that sounds like family.

(written personally for two dear people, a few days ago)

PIONEERS AND US (11)

Restating thought of (8).

We have pressure, expectation, that every ‘responsible’ person should have insurance for trouble and a portfolio of stash for ‘some day’.

Pioneers worked hard to put food on the table, and they helped each other when trouble came.
Pioneers lived more in the present, for today—and they lived more.
Pioneers depended on God more, because they had to.

IDENTIFY AS FEMALE ? ? ?

I wish I could use extreme language to state the truth about the title.

“BULL” will have to do for now.

“The Emperor Has No Clothes” is accurate, but doesn’t come close to saying the obvious, strongly enough.

WHO IS KIDDING WHOM ?
The guys taking advantage of this current disaster don’t need to have a transgender issue, to indulge their lifelong fantasies of entering women’s bathrooms and locker rooms.
They never feel more like a male than when they get the thrill of crossing boundary lines protecting women.
It’s a fantasy version of rape—and some have used this insanity to do just that.

And I wonder how many creators of the policy are vicariously getting sexual satisfaction through those exposing themselves in ‘girls only’ places and watching girls.

If there are any girls or women okay with these policies, the same can be said about them as well as the guys.
The difference is they are not safe—sooner or later they will be victims of sexual assault or unwanted sexual advance.
And that will change their view.
– – –
Any healthy society will set barriers and steel itself against lgbt gaining a foothold.
Any compromise over sexual boundaries to protect women and families and keep men from crossing those lines, will weaken the society.
When weakness is detected, that emboldens evil forces to maximize the demise of everything good for strong families.
And when families are weakened, the downfall of society is inevitable.

UNAPOLOGETIC PROMISES

UNPOPULAR UNAPOLOGETIC PROMISES

Jesus did not say, “Sorry about your problems.”
Or, “What’s your problem that you’ve got trouble?”

He said, “In this world you will have trouble; but be of good cheer, because I have overcome the world.”

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

We resist when things go against us.
We want God to fix them.
Or we want to fix them ourselves.

Can we “rejoice in our sufferings”?
Can we “count it all joy”?
Paul did.
He “learned in whatever state to be content”.
Persecuted Christians today thank God for a closer, sweeter walk with Jesus through their severe persecutions.

How much of that is available for us today ?
How much of that do we want today ?

Lord, what do I have to lose, to gain the perspective of Paul, writing letters of encouragement to joy, from prison ?
Paul—world traveling troublemaker for Jesus.

John Bunyan—during his years in prison, wrote Pilgrim’s Progress about the real Christian life, second best seller after the Bible.
Bunyan—in prison for preaching about Jesus.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer—powerful theology studied today, written in Nazi prisons.
Bonhoeffer—hanged for plotting to kill Hitler.

Richard and Sabina Wurmbrandt—in communist prisons, taking uncompromising stand for Jesus.
Wurmbrandts—founders of Voice of the Martyrs seven decades ago, remembering and helping persecuted Christians and their families today.

PERSECUTION NOW

More Christians were martyred for their faith in Jesus in the twentieth century than all previous centuries together.
And persecution continues.
And persecution increases.
And persecution is coming to America.
But only to serious, uncompromising Christians.

Are you one ?
Will you qualify ?

“STORE UP” – – – “GIVE AWAY”

Store it up or give it all away ?
Which should be my focus ? (Don’t say ‘should’—I don’t want someone telling me what I should do.)

Store it up or give it all away ?
The Bible talks about both, a lot.
Does God care more about our heart or our money ?
We desperately want to hear that our heart is right, so we can do what we want with our money, and do what others tell us to do with our money to make more.

Store it up or give it all away ?
Which is it ?
— Store up provisions and money while you can, for the time when you can’t.
OR
— Give it all away and follow Jesus.

“Go to the ant, . . . ,
Consider her ways and be wise,
Which, having no captain,
Overseer or ruler,
Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.”*
—–from Proverbs, often quoted to support ‘store it up’.

“Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”*

– – –

How did we do it in the past in America, to keep ‘balance’ between saving and giving ?
One thing is clear—we certainly did it differently in days gone by.
We didn’t have the pressure, the expectation, that every ‘responsible’ person should have a portfolio of stash for _ _/_ _/_ _ _ _ (some day).
We worked hard to put food on the table, and we helped each other when trouble came.
We lived more in the present, for today—and we lived more.
We depended on God more, because we had to.

But the world is not the same now.
Because we have more options today, we can do more than generations past—and we can go faster and raise our kids to go faster and we can reach the universal goal of comfortable retirement ‘faster?’—and we can pay for upgrades on everything but ______ (you fill in the blank, underlined).

We can’t go back.
Says who ?
Oh, yes we can ! ! !
You want to see faster and faster—going back ?
Solar flare (act of God), EMP (so simple, so easy), terrorism (ducks all in a row now)—we can go back FAST—too far, too real, too likely.

– – –

Following Jesus,
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”*
Is that any different now ?

Following Jesus literally, faithfully, peculiarly enough to face criticism, exclusion, deprivation, persecution—is that what Jesus meant ?

It starts with our heart (all in), and our money (all our stuff), and our sacrifice (all our choice, till it hurts).

We are being very presumptuous when we decide we can be in control.
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow.”*

– – –
– – –

Now, the rest of the above Bible verses, putting us in our place, and putting our decisions in perspective,
*”Go to the ant, you sluggard (often left out),
Consider her ways and be wise,
Which, having no captain,
Overseer or ruler,
Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.”
This passage is not advice for everyone to store up for some uncertain someday.
It is specifically blasting lazy bums who don’t work for everyday food,
“How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to sleep—
So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.”

*”Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, ‘One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.’”
And, the Bible says,
“But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.”
This young, rich, leader was lost to hell because he couldn’t give up his stuff, give away his stuff, lots of stuff.
Remember, he came to Jesus to find out how to get to heaven,
“Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
He couldn’t handle Jesus’ answer—what about us ?

*”Jesus said to His disciples,
‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.'”
Jesus went on, to make it clear—storing it up here is not worth losing heaven,
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

*”Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow.”
The folly of presuming on tomorrow and how we’ll store it up—the Bible passage continues,
“For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.’ But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.”

Finally—
Considering all the Biblical warnings about the dangers of wanting more money and going after more stuff—why do so many American Christians spend their lifetime trying to beat those odds ?
