THEY’RE COMING AFTER YOU

During the patriotic rally at Mt. Rushmore, Donald Trump emphatically said,
“They’re not coming after me; they’re coming after you.”
He has repeated that statement since then, and rightly so.

The leader of Israel has said the same thing, that they’re not just coming after Israel; they’re coming after America.

At the transgender parade in New York, the marchers were screaming bloody murder,
“We’re coming after your kids.”
I heard the audio clip, and it’s true.

Evil is on a worldwide rampage, using any groups they can solicit to stir up hatred and attacks on Israel and America.

Yesterday, speaking to the United States Congress, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said,
“we’re not only protecting ourselves; we’re protecting you.”

Watch and listen to his entire speech.
He is speaking truth to power, and if Americans don’t believe him, we’re next to suffer severe attacks.

CONSEQUENCES

If we face troubles in life through no fault of our own, just by living in this world—how can we expect to be exempt from consequences when we go against God’s laws ?

We want to think we’re good, and we don’t want to pay when we do wrong—we want to be excused because we’re pretty good usually.

Are there any laws in the universe that change, ever—much less, by our wishes or our influence ?
We can’t change day and night, summer and winter, sunshine and rain, smooth sailing and stormy weather.
Belief in man-made climate change says we are greater than God, Who runs everything He made, and He sets the patterns of hot and cold, and everything else.
You can count on this: Advocates for extreme measures to address climate change don’t believe God is in charge of this world, and certainly not in charge of their life.

Yes, we can mess up a small portion of God’s creation, and we can fix it, but we’re just not that big to do much.
And any basics of logic will see through the agenda of those trying to change our lives to ‘save the planet’—they don’t care about the environment—they only care about power, and anything they can use to gain more power, world power, world control, world government.

And all of their agenda, including their promises, will make life very bad for us and take away our freedom.

Consequences ?
One to avoid is following false ideas that are proven to not work, and enslave people.
That is happening in our world today, and in our country.
Especially beware of what is smoothly pushed by the media.

And now, the most important—
If we claim that man is greater than the laws God made in nature, then we also believe we are greater than the laws He made in spiritual matters.

“All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.”

“The soul that sins will die.”

“It is appointed to man to die once, and after that the judgment.”

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.”

“That life is in His Son, Jesus.”

“There is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

“God loved the world so much that He gave us His only Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him doesn’t have to go to hell, but have eternal life in heaven.”

Consequences of not believing in Jesus are far greater than anything we could possibly do to harm the earth.

XI JINPING PONG – – – WEAPON OF CHOICE

“He Who sits in the heavens, laughs, and keeps them in derision.”
That is for all fools who say there is no God.

God has His weapons of choice for dealing with people (even His own dear ones that He loves) and with nations.
Among those weapons, God chooses nations to use against other nations that once trusted Him and then turned their back on Him.
Then God uses other nations to wipe out the nations that He just used.

We want to see ‘justice’ in our lifetime, and we expect God to do it.
He will, in His time, including when we are on the receiving end.
In His Word, He combines “justice, and mercy, and walking humbly with God.”
We’ve got a ways to go if we want justice on bad guys and mercy on us, and forget that humble is only the first step to praying and seeking God’s face and turning from our wicked ways—to get a hearing from God, then forgiveness, then fixing our country “healing our land”.

We may have to wait for deliverance and first go through ‘hell and high water’ from bad guys acting on God’s discretion.
Right now, God would rather have His own to get right with Him, which most have lost sight of in comfortable America, than to save America.

A word about Xi JinPing Pong and the title above:
I make fun of those that God makes fun of (on this site read two letters to Xi JinPing Pong from the guy in the White House).
I hate what he is capable of, what he does to his own people, what he can and will likely to do our people.

America is unguarded for another half year against his weapons of choice that guarantee decimation of our everyday life, and our very lives.
I expect he will use a combination of weapons, to increase confusion and incapacitate our response.
A couple Electromagnetic Pulse ‘bombs’ detonated about a hundred miles up will be more effective than dozens of nukes at the surface, and they may very well avoid triggering a nuclear response—while we “investigate” and try to figure out what just happened.
Simultaneously, the thirty thousand-plus Chinese operatives in the U.S. (by Washington design) will disable any surviving parts of the electric grid after the EMP’s, and take out any attempts for law and order.
The PingPong Plan—starve the enemy, and let them kill each other—then take over completely.

CYBER ATTACK 2.0, 3.0, 10.0

They have an earthquake scale to measure the magnitude—each greater number indicates double the magnitude.

So, the movie 10.0 attempted to demonstrate the maximum imaginable intensity and destruction of the really big one earthquake.
Forever jokes about California falling off into the Pacific were played out on the big screen.

But, since it hasn’t happened, we don’t think about it or talk about to too seriously.
Scientists (real ones, not like covid ‘scientists’ giving ‘consensus’) measure and record and predict and warn about earthquakes.
We live with that, with anxiety, with apathy, getting used to it.

Within the world of technology, AND OUR UTTER DEPENDENCE ON IT, a similar cloud hangs over the world, especially America.
Why America—because we’re the leader of the free world—and leaders of the not-free world want to take us down.

Ciber attack—computers down, and out for . . . ?—back to handwritten sales deals at new car dealers—computer company “working to restore the system as quickly as possible”—then back to normal ? again—lingering, or growing, doubt about dependence on ‘fragile technology’.
Another true story, happened in real time, currently !

Attacks do happen periodically, and repeatedly, as though assorted test runs for The Big One ciber attack.

But as long as the problem gets ‘fixed’ in reasonable time, we accept such incidents, attacks, as expected part of life with technology.
“All computer programs have bugs—we have smart people to take care of that.”

We think and operate like we’re inoculated against the real big one.

Reality will return.
History will repeat.
Progress, astounding progress, blessings from the hand of God—received now without acknowledgment of The Almighty as in the past—will be turned into a curse on America, just as surely as Israel’s golden calf was ground into powder and mixed in their drinking water.
So it will be when our almighty technology—godlike in control and with our dependence on it—is instantly reduced to trillions of melted chips, and we can’t even eat.

The only thing ‘keeping this from happening’, keeping us from facing this return to reality, is that is hasn’t happened.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki did happen, because a weapon was created to make it happen, and we were desperate to stop insane, fanatical emperor worship from winning against the good guys and freedom.

Now, we are no longer the ‘good guys’—because we turned our backs on God, we are no longer the ‘Godly guys’.
The evil side abounds on all fronts, including the top leaders within this country, and they are just as desperate to win as we were in WWII.

Someone will use the weapons currently available to completely disable the United States.
The only unknown is how many Americans will see the coming calamity from God as His judgment to bring repentance, when His goodness did not bring us back to Him.

”Do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”

“The wicked will be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. Whatever a man (or nation) sows, that will he also reap.”

The last verse continues with sure counsel for sure followers of Jesus, faithful now and in the “perilous times” ahead:
“He who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

COVET – – – OR – – – CONTENT

We see lots of messages in the workplace and on billboards and social media that are supposed to make us feel good or challenge us to be better and strive for something more.

Lots of inspirational posters and sayings to . . .
Lots of motivational posters and sayings to . . .
Lots of advice calling for something inside to move us to . . .

Most of what we’re told boils down to searching for something
– more than where we are,
– more than what we have,
– even more than who we are.

Most of what we think to achieve greatness starts with
– not accepting now
– pushing for something different
– reaching for more
– discontent with the present a prerequisite for future success.

We hear and say the promise of happiness when . . . (Everybody has their list.)
That is nearly universal in each of us.
That is universally reinforced by everything around us.
And it is flawed, because . . .

Does that promise for happiness someday, also promise contentment along with it someday ?
Happiness someday ?
? Contentment ? someday ?
How about today ?

Doesn’t this whole idea have a built-in drive for more and more and more ?
And then what—more ?
What in the world does all the motivation/inspiration in the world offer, or even mention, about contentment ?

You see, contentment counts only with contentment now.
– – –
True success, true happiness, true satisfaction—any blessings in life start with contentment.
All energy spent without that starting point is a wasted dream.
A foundation of contentment frees up more energy to do more, without waste.

The next day at Church In The Park in Temple, Texas, a dear friend, a veteran in his later seventies with health issues that challenge to the limit—asked me what went through my mind when I learned that Donald Trump was shot.

ONE
America is at the boiling point, and it will spill over into more violence, if we don’t return to what made this country great for 250 years.

TWO
I remembered what Trump said at the picturesque America rally at Mt. Rushmore—
“They’re not coming after me—they’re coming after you.”

THREE
I prayed that this would be a wake up call for Donald Trump, to personally turn to God—a life-changing time, spiritually.

Trump’s speech last night, Thursday, July 18, was an answer to my prayer, and the prayers of millions of other Christians.
He rewrote his speech because of the attempt on his life.
Trump acknowledged in detail how it was a miracle that he was even there last night.
He mentioned God a number of times, and not casually in passing.
“I am here by the grace of Almighty God.”
That’s good enough for me, for now.
I share Franklin Graham’s prayer that Donald Trump will commit his heart and life to Jesus.
I believe God is working on that in Trump.

MAN-MADE – – – SYNTHETIC – – – ARTIFICIAL

I was in an auto parts store the other day to get a belt for my van.
I happened to notice on the counter mat, advertisements for synthetic oil.
Recently I got advice to not use synthetic oil blends in my bobcat hydraulics.
So, the ad on the counter caught my attention.
I told the employee,
“I have a problem trusting synthetic oil—it makes me think of artificial intelligence.”

READ THE BIBLE – – – SOAKER, SPRINKLER, FLOODED

How shall we read the Bible, the Water of Life ?

Why should we read the Bible ?
– – –
A few things the Bible says about itself:

The Water of the Word is Wonderful—
“Therefore with joy you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation.”

Only the Word from Jesus satisfies—
“Jesus stood and cried, saying, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and drink.’ “

From the very last chapter of the Bible, the vision of heaven—
“Come! Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”

Must have the Word to have faith—
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

The Bible is loaded with everything we need—
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped unto all good works.”

Read the Bible to see where you’re going and where you should go—
“Your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Light for my path.”

The Word of God is THE ONE THING—
“Mary sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard His Word.
And Jesus said to her sister, ‘Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.’ “

God’s Word empowers with discernment—
“The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing the soul and spirit, the joints and marrow. It is a judge of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The Bible applies when it’s convenient and when it’s not—
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, encourage, with great patience and careful instruction.”

Preach the Word—people hear, people believe, people pray—
“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”

After you hear, then—
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”

Always verify that what you heard preached is Biblical—
“They received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

And now, about the title—
SOAKER
Sometimes we need to read the Bible very slowly, one verse at a time, or one word at a time, and let it soak in, to affect our mind, our memory, and our life.

SPRINKLER
Like fresh rain showers from heaven, from any source, we get a Word from the Word that’s just what we need at just the right time ! ! !

FLOODED
We get deep in the Word, and we are inundated with the Glory of God and the power and the understanding that lifts us close to Jesus.

Disproportionate media coverage.

Unrealistic emphasis and Unnatural application by policy makers and revolutionaries have hijacked yet another minor part of culture to blow apart a stable society and replace with disaster.

WHY 400 YEARS ? – – – TWICE

The people of Israel, the Children of Israel, have endured 400 unexplainable years twice in Biblical history.

First, 400 years of slavery in Egypt, and the only explanation given is that another Pharoah came to power that did not know Joseph—Joseph, who was responsible for saving his family of 70 Hebrews from famine and bringing them to Egypt.
Don’t know why He waited, but God acted supernaturally after all those years to rescue and deliver His People, and He gave them a rallying cry to remember forever—The Passover.

Again, after the last prophet, Malachi, the Children of Israel did not hear a word from God through another prophet for 400 years.
Don’t know why He waited, but God acted supernaturally after all those years to rescue and deliver His People, and all people, and sent His Son, Jesus, to save us from our greatest bondage, sin.

We can’t explain God, because He is God—His ways and His thoughts are higher than ours.
But we can take Him at His Word, and take what Jesus did for us, and have our biggest problem taken care of, and have a reunited relationship with Him forever.
