How does a person experience the benefits of life insurance?
First you have to die.
Then, . . .
The benefits depend on your underwriter.
Life insurance can pay the undertaker.
But, . . .
Only Biblical Insurance pays the Uppertaker.
And that would be Jesus.
Policy already paid in full—in advance.
But you have to sign up for it—in advance.
And that would be . . . NOW.
When something goes wrong in our lives, we all tend to first find a problem to blame the people closest to us.
Sometimes that may be true.
But for Christian families genuinely seeking to follow Jesus, we are not each other’s enemy.
The enemy satan is.
He is more than anything else a deceiver, creating illusions of diversion from the real issues.
Illusions lead to delusions, and we fight each other.
And often the reality is that we’re getting attacked primarily because we’re doing something right that displeases the devil.
So for the Christian couple experiencing difficulty, try first discussing together what good you are seeking in God’s will that is drawing fierce enemy fire.
Pray together against the devil, and thank God for what is right, before trying to figure out what’s wrong.
We must give encouragement to each other, to be faithful witnesses as persecution and martyrdom draw close.
It’s not just news anymore to keep up with.
It’s Christianity as Jesus promised.
WHAT IF—
+We love God with everything?
+We are exactly where God wants us today?
+We are successful in His eyes when we fail in our eyes or in our critics’ eyes or in our creditors’ eyes?
+”What if the trials of this life—the pain, the storms, the darkest nights—are His blessings in disguise?”
Someone will depend on you to bring them to Jesus.
Decide to live authentically as a Christian.
To the criminal, gun control is like incarceration in a candy factory.
When serious persecution of Christians comes to America, and churches are closed, beware of selected churches the government allows to remain open.
Strange—same last name.
Supposed to all go away—forget it.
Everyone busy—let it go.
So many new scandals—does anything matter?
Yes, it matters—both quotes of the Clintons.
“WHAT IS ‘IS’?”
What absolute irony—throw morality out the window of the oval office with the word “IS”, and now the oval office makes the most of today’s “IS”—Islamic State.
“WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE” if four Americans are throwaways?
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE” if America itself is a throwaway?
Putting it all together,
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES “IS” MAKE?
The Islamic State and the Islamic Lovers in Washington intend to make Americans throwaways.
And they have all the ammunition in stock to act on their intentions.
Pray for healing, but don’t demand that God remove the very means to a closer walk with Him.
“I count all things but loss, . . .
That I may win Christ,
And be found in Him, . . .
That I may know Him,
And the power of His resurrection,
And the fellowship of His suffering , . . .”
Questions nobody wants to ask:
1) Now what does the deal really mean?
Total surrender to all enemies.
2) Where does that leave America?
Same place as other countries overthrown by Islamists.
3) Where does that leave American Christians?
Same place as Christians in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lybia, Sudan, . . .
