WELL-WORN – – – WORN WELL

There is an apt saying:
A Bible that is falling apart probably belongs to a person whose spiritual life is not falling apart.

I can’t help but do some wishful thinking when I reach in my pocket, that the following saying would be true as well:
A wallet that is falling apart probably belongs to a person whose financial life is not falling apart.

Well, at least that person is using his money, and not hiding it.
