HEAVEN AND EARTH—WHAT IS IT WORTH?

Heaven is not the sequel to the Christian life.

Earth is the prequel to the Christian life.

BOSTON TEA PARTY—2013—? ? ?

The Boston Tea Party Today—what does it look like?—can we do it?

Or is it one more item on the list we can’t touch for lack of willpower?  (along with impeachment of judges, impeachment of president, changing Congress, taking back our government by force)

The Boston Tea Party of 1773 (catalyst for the Revolution) is not the Tea Party movement of today—at least not yet.*

My prediction and my question for several years now has been this:

Violence is coming to the streets of America. Will it be productive violence, or like Tiananmen Square in China?  However, the student leader of that protest declares today that it was not in vain. (Likewise, “Remember the Alamo” is not just for Texans anymore—it is a freedom cry for anyone.)

What will the Boston Tea Party Today look like, drawing parallels with the original?  What effect will technology have?  What difference will the internet make on the next American (Texan) Revolution?

And now, the most jaw-dropping question of all, that freedom loving leaders must address in very practical terms (for personal survival and military readiness) is this:  What is the greater impact of technology and the internet on the Freedom Revolution, dealing with their absence in the wake of EMP’s.

Strategies of days gone by may return at any time.  Will anyone be ready to lead, as in “hang together, or hang separately”?

* “. . . if the colonies paid the duty tax on the imported tea they would be acknowledging Parliament’s right to tax them.”     Quote is from “The Boston Tea Party, 1773,” EyeWitness to History, www.eyewitnesstohistory.com (2002).

BRITISH REDCOATS—NAZI BROWN SHIRTS—UN BLUES

Americans defeated the first two—we had to, or else.

The outcome of the third remains uncertain—we don’t know what to do, and they advance.

So what is next?  OBAMA RAINBOWS

(Think about it—all the ingredients are included in that title)

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

The wrong side—the evil side—the side in power—the leadership in Washington—is in good shape.  Right on schedule, even ahead of schedule, they can comfortably claim “Mission Accomplished” so far, with no reason to stop their agenda any time soon.

They won the election.

Most of their opposition in Congress is impotent.

Americans are not ready to revolt yet.

Lawsuits just buy time.

Lawsuits silence the voice of the Tea Party for now.

The issue of the day distracts the people from the real dangers.

Secret undermining of America proceeds, alive and well, undetected, until it is too late to stop.

TWO ACTIVITIES FOREIGN TO AMERICANS

FINANCIAL SUCCESS ? – – – GIVE IT AWAY ?

“Lord, while I live I would like to know one individual personally who made a lot of money—and gave it away—and it is reflected in the car he drives and the house he lives in.”

I’ve shared that prayer a number of times over the years, because it would be real, visible proof of a rich person’s heart that is truly surrendered to the Lord.  It seems to me that when a person keeps more money and stuff than he needs, it means he is also keeping part of his heart from God’s ownership.

This morning a new thought came concerning the above prayer. What if someone is praying that prayer who has almost no possessions, and that person is watching me.

Now, my prayer includes the following (high stakes prayer):

“Lord, what else do I have to lose to gain the perspective that Paul had, writing letters of encouragement, from prison?”

Where in the Bible do we find instruction to pursue our own things, our own happiness, our own comfort?  Yet I constantly hear this equally from Christians and non-Christians alike:  “You have to take care of yourself first, or you can’t help anybody else.”

Perhaps self-centered, materialistic Christianity in America is not the Biblical norm.

VOTER FRAUD DOESN’T EXIST—except . . .

Voter fraud doesn’t exist in America—except where it exists.

Voter fraud doesn’t exist in America—except in the last election.

Voter fraud doesn’t exist in America—except in Ohio precincts that had over one hundred percent voter turnout.

Voter fraud doesn’t exist in America—except in places where one in five registered voters were dead or imprisoned or otherwise illegal to vote.

Voter fraud doesn’t actually change the outcome of elections in America—except in the last one.

Voter fraud doesn’t actually change the outcome of elections in America—except in the one before that one.

If there is one universal pattern that applies to America these days—because it applies to human nature focused on materialism—it is this:

We get accustomed to incrementally encroaching evil and desensitized by entertainment and journalism that endorse it.

Therefore, we have no moral compass and no backbone to fight for our country, for our freedom, for our faith, for our children, and for our future.

Standing for what is right must include standing up against evil and defeating it by all means necessary.  Americans used to do that, together.

“AMERICA, AMERICA . . . “

“America, America, God shed His grace on thee,

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea.”

“God Bless America”—not just after 9-11 on the Capitol steps.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY—WHY?

I am pleased to share a paragraph from Phil Robertson’s book, which I heartily endorse.  In the front inside cover, the summary says:  “If you ever wind up sitting face-to-face with Phil, you’ll see that his enthusiasm and passion for duck hunting and the Lord is no act—it is truly who he is.”

Now the quote from Phil:

“The Almighty blessed us, and Duck Commander did work, just like He said it would.  Yes, it took a long, long time for us to get to where we are today.  But even before our success, and long before Duck Dynasty came along, everybody was happy, happy, happy.  In other words, it wasn’t like my love for the Almighty was contingent upon whether the blessings came or not.  My prayer was always:  ‘Lord, if You bless me, I’ll thank You; but if You don’t, I’ll be thankful for what I have.  I have plenty.  I’m in good shape.’  Even before our success came along, we had air-conditioning, color TV, hot water, and a bathtub.  We had everything we needed.  When I was a boy, we didn’t even have bathtubs or commodes, but I was still as happy and content as I am today.  As long as I was doing what God said was right and living my life for Him, I knew everything would work out in the end—one way or another.”

Amen to that, Phil.
