WHAT IS AN AMBASSADOR?

The meaning of “ambassador” has been distorted, and I say ravaged, by the current administration in the White House.

Ambassador used to mean a highly honored (and protected) representative of a country or a king, requiring the highest integrity and synonymous with the best of everything the country stands for.

 

Recent events involving two U.S. Ambassadors and the Secretary of State (ambassador to the world) have revealed one more departure from the America we have known for over two centuries.

One ambassador was disposable.

One ambassador was dispensable—as in dispensing lies for the “president.”

The Secretary of State was lauded for negotiating “peace” with enemies, at the expense of our ally.

 

The Secretary of State (or potential future candidate) is part of a “team” in an Administration, not a water girl to deliver lies in ignorance.

Likewise, if the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. admits to delivering lies from the “president” to the world—how could that person not be complicit?

CAPITALISM – – – EVERYONE WILLING TO WORK WINS

In free enterprise—free market capitalism—rich people are not the enemy.

In capitalism the rich do not get richer by taking (stealing) from the poor.

 

Capitalism depends on people with means, who provide work for other people, so they can eat and live.  Everyone willing to work wins.  Very simply, capitalism works—socialism doesn’t.

Does it make sense to envy the person who gives you a job?  (especially if the alternative is no job)

 

Socialism (and all the evils that follow) is based on taking (stealing) from anyone with anything.  The government immediately must be in charge of the taking (stealing) by force, including taking (stealing) freedom.

 

CAPITALISM

—Everyone willing to work, eats and enjoys the fruit of his labor.

—Everyone not willing to work, does not eat, and gets very uncomfortable.

 

SOCIALISM

—Everyone willing to work, becomes a slave.

—Everyone not willing to work, becomes a slave.

? DISRESPECT ? – – – FOR GOD

What is God’s response to disrespect?

Truth is, God demands much more than respect.

God requires total worship, and He will get it from everyone.

For a time now, it seems people get away with disrespect for God.

But, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked . . . “

God is the one and only, all or nothing, sovereign of the universe, which includes us.

None of us will get away with anything disrespectful before Him.

To God, every hint or expression of disrespect equals blasphemy.

It may not be popular to say this, but He also equates ignoring Him with blasphemy.

If God is not supreme Lord in our individual lives, then someone else is.

 

“This is like church.  We thank god, and our lord and savior Barack Obama – – – B a r a c k   O b a m a,” and hundreds in the audience gave thunderous, approving applause.  (reminded me of the overwhelming voice vote against putting God back in the Democrat Party platform)

 

There are cases in the Bible where a king accepted or required god-worship of himself, and rapid response from the true God took him out or taught him a lesson.

The “president” of the United States will fare no better, as he receives this worship reserved for God alone.

 

For all of us, remember this:

+++Worship God, or be judged;

+++Worship God, or be destroyed.
