OVERCOMER – – – YES! YES! YES!

That is my movie review in one word (or three words).

From the creators of Facing the Giants, Fireproof, War Room, etc.—the movies keep getting better.

You will get caught up in the story, you will get a number of surprises, you will get involved, you will get touched, you will get to see people challenged and lives changed.

You will be glad you went.

Go see Overcomer—came in third during opening weekend.

? CLOUDS ? – – – ? FIRE ?

Does your course seem cloudy today?

Are you facing some fire in your life tonight?

– – –

Remember how God led His people through the day with a cloud.

Remember how God led His people through the night with a fire.

They couldn’t see through the cloud.

They couldn’t see through the fire.

They didn’t need to.

– – –

Just follow the cloud and the fire—trust God that He is leading you by the cloud and by the fire in your life today.

(Inspired by American Family Radio and “Pilgrim’s Progress” movie)

JUST DEBATE – – – OR . . . ?

One of my sons wisely advised me that we can’t convince, persuade, debate, prove facts, or in any way change the mindset of those extremely on the other side (leftists, liberals, democrats, socialists, anti-Trumpers with Trump Derangement Syndrome, lgbt activists, abortion advocates, atheists, social gospel proponents, ‘no borders’ minded, Chris-lam tolerant, mainstream media mind-controlled).

– – –

The antidote to poison propaganda ?

I have no more desire or obligation to engage in debate with my friends on the other side if they will not actually listen to “Sandy Rios In The Morning,” Bryan Fischer’s “Focal Point,” Abraham Hamilton III’s “Hamilton Corner,” Tony Perkins “Washington Watch” on American Family Radio (afr.net or 89.9 in central Texas), and see the movie “Unplanned”—with documented examples of truth about lies funded by Soros (and company) and propagated by the lopsided mainstream media.

I care about my friends and others, and I care about my country that trusted in God, and I want to share Jesus’ love for me and them more than anything else.

So I will be more careful to notice the difference between dialogue and diatribe.

PILGRIM’S PROGRESS

Watch this movie if you possibly can.

It is in theaters two days only, April 18 and 20.

Watch the trailer online, and several encounters that challenge the pilgrim on his unique journey.

I assure you that you will be challenged as well.

I have personally been on this journey for decades, and the clips that I watched were convicting and soul-searching for me.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow evening.

“UNPLANNED” BRINGS RESULTS

Since its release on March 29, the movie “Unplanned” has prompted 1% of Planned Parenthood workers to seek help to get out of working for the business of abortion.

Two sites for information and inspiration:

“UNPLANNED”

I saw “Unplanned” a few days ago on opening weekend.

The movie met and exceeded all the expectations I had heard in advance.

And, in spite of widespread media blackout of advertising for “Unplanned,” it came in number four nationwide.

This movie documents the personal, firsthand account of lies versus truth in the battle of death versus life for unborn babies—the very real transformation in the life of Abby Johnson, from Planned Parenthood’s employee of the year directing their top abortion center, to walking away from it all one day and advocating for life ever since.

That abortion center in Bryan, Texas closed as a result of Abby’s stand for life, and the building became the headquarters of 40 Days for Life.

If people actually saw America’s “Not-See Holocaust,” it would cause an end to abortion, just like what Abby Johnson saw for the first time, ended her part in abortions and ended that building’s use for abortions.

Now everyone can see the truth, the reality of abortion.

The movie is extremely well-done !

“Unplanned” graciously, compassionately, and passionately shows life and death, and life wins.

In the strongest way I can say it, “Please see this movie.”

I guarantee you will be glad you did.

DEATH OF A NATION

How does a nation die?

How have nations died in the past?

Two ways:

By themselves, from within—or—with outside help.

How about America?

We were saved from the brink in the 1860’s, thanks in large part to Abraham Lincoln.

We are in grave danger today—we must save this country again!

Be sure to watch “DEATH OF A NATION” in theaters now.

“ANDY’S RAINBOW”

“You don’t have to be smart to know God’s love.” —– Andy

Brace yourself to be touched.

This movie covers the good, the bad, and the ugly—and beauty comes out of it.

And it tends to all the loose ends at the end, so you’re left feeling complete.

“SACRED VOW”

This movie is very powerful, to move all married persons to guard their marriage in every way they can.

It shows the subtle, and not so subtle, ways that a precious relationship can be undermined.

And it shows the amazing ways a dying marriage can come back to life.

Not just another movie, not just another love story in trouble—this one can change your life, whether your marriage is in bad shape or in great shape.

Please watch it—a must watch—it could prompt a milestone marker in your life.

“PALE RIDER” RIDES AGAIN—i wish

Halfway through watching “Pale Rider” again, the community of holdout miners with families had to decide to stay and fight or get paid to leave.

It reminds me of what we’ll face soon.

Get bought—or stand and fight for what we believe in, right where we live.

And when the movie ends, my comment and conviction is this:

If only we had enough preachers today, armed with the Bible and guns, to make King BHOB* shake in his boots like King George feared The Black-Robed Regiment.
