PRAY FOR AMERICA AND . . .

A friend sent this reminder:

“Don’t let the devil distract you from praying for Cavanaugh, Trump, and Cruz.”

Cavanaugh and Cruz are learning a whole new chapter in heavier spiritual warfare, even after lifelong walks with God.

Trump is learning FAST in a crash course of what it means to be a new Christian leading the free world, with all-hell released against him.

Sandy Rios (afr.net) and others are nailing it for what it is—war on Jesus and His people, across the (game) board, the battlefield of earth.

“There’s a war going on, and you’re in it.”

MY PART ? (1 of 3) – – – “HURRY UP AND WAIT”

Many people and situations in life tell us to “hurry up.”

But “the race is not always to the swift.”

And what might we miss while we are hurrying?

And just what’s with the “up” part?

Get up the ladder—get it done—and then what?

Often, after we hurry up, we have to wait.

Many people in a hurry can’t wait, so . . .

. . . so they hurry to the next rush, and miss more .

And, they miss more of the more important.

The most important things in life take time.

The most important things in life can’t be done in a hurry.

The most important things in life require undivided attention.

The first step in overcoming “the tyranny of the urgent” is to choose some urgent thing that is not going to get done, while choosing some valuable thing to do instead.

God.

Family.

Love.

Faith.

Serving.

And,

Waiting.

God—“Pray without ceasing (no rush)?”

Family—Sacrifice yourself, and give.

Love—Spelled “Time.”

Faith—“Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.”

Service—“He humbled Himself, and became the Servant of all.”

Waiting—Doing nothing.  “Stand still, and see God save the day.”

So the more Biblical mandate would be:

Instead of “Hurry up and wait,”

Wait first, on God, and then you will have plenty of time to do something that counts—something that He counts.

END TIMES, SIMPLIFIED

“He’s coming—I’m going” —–Ed Vitagliano (American Family Radio, afr.net)

Me too!

“DOCTRINES OF DEVILS” ?

Two Bible verses:

“A bishop [pastor, priest, church leader] must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior . . . ”

“. . . some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, . . . forbidding to marry.”

No wonder we see the consequences.

TEN COMMANDMENTS—POSTED? OR FORBIDDEN?

I heard today that the Ten Commandments are posted for visitors to see at Auschwitz.

Over four decades ago the U.S. Supreme Court declared the Ten Commandments forbidden in American public schools, because “. . . children might see them and read them and obey them [do what they say].”

I hesitate to comment, because the effects in history and the present are so obvious.

Why are we so bent on repeating the evil, when we have such a time-tested blueprint for the good?

WHO IS RUNNING THE COUNTRY?*

I just heard on afr that facebook has blocked over 90% of ads by conservative candidates.

Mainstream media and social media have superseded the judicial branch, in power.

American Family Radio may be the only source to GET IT RIGHT.

I always told my children:

“We are influenced by everything we expose ourselves to; and we are influenced to the degree of exposure.  There is no such thing as ‘I can handle it—it won’t affect me.'”

If Christians never hear the Biblical perspective on today’s issues, we will lose the Christian perspective, and more.

*alternate title:  WHO IS RUINING THE COUNTRY?

ON THE LEVEL

+LEVEL is not a range.

+OBEDIENCE is not a range.

+TIMING OF OBEDIENCE is not a range.

+TRUTH is not a range.

+GOD is not a range.

+LIFE is not a buffet.

At the end of life, you find that there were only two items on the menu—and you find out if you picked the right one.

FREEDOM

F R E E D O M

Physical Freedom

Political Freedom

Economic Freedom

Religious Freedom

Moral Freedom

Spiritual Freedom

I give you a universal guideline and encouragement for securing freedom, guarding and keeping it, and fighting off any who would threaten to ensnare and enslave you, from the only source of true freedom.

“For freedom Christ has set you free—do not let anyone bring you again under any yoke of bondage.”

“If Christ has set you free, you are free indeed.”

Every person and every nation that rose to freedom started from great bondage, to great faith, to great courage, to great boldness, to great strength, to great freedom, to great blessings . . .

And then, the second half of the verse above becomes so significant—great blessings include great prosperity, to great comfort, to great materialism, to great selfishness, to great apathy, to great vulnerability, to great seduction, to great apostasy, to great temptation, to great pleasure, to great sin, to great judgment, to great oppression, to great bondage again.

“Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.”

“We gave you a republic, if you can keep it.”

“Our liberty is always only one generation away from extinction.”

There is more, later, but consider how all the freedoms partially listed above have been so gloriously enjoyed in America—and precisely because we made the connection that they all come from God.

It is that simple.

It is truth—no matter what we’ve gone through in the past, and are going through now.

Please, Americans, do not throw it all away for some reckless frenzy from those who don’t know God and despise the name of Jesus in the public square.

To start the United States of America, Christians got involved completely, in everything, with everything they had.

We can do no less, against all enemies, foreign and domestic and those inside each of us whispering lies to make us less than bold.

BLIND LEADING BLIND

[somewhat cryptic in places]

The Emperor Has No Clothes.

No one seems to see the obvious.

Except one remaining innocent child.

The rest, adults and children alike, have been swamped with indoctrination, brainwashing.

What do emus, ostriches, and lgbt have in common?

Entire manufactured industry—self-perpetuating by the hype and promises and advertising—no sustaining substance in reality—many get hurt, ruined.

(At least pet rocks were relatively harmless—how about marketing dehydrated water, for the prepper who has everything.)

Perspective!

Funny?  or Fatal?     for individuals and for countries.

Definitely not “progressive.”

Claiming “rights” never changes wrong into right.

Satan’s first line in the Garden of Eden, “Did God really say?”

He’s been recycling the same old line—same old results.

God Said It.

I Believe It.

That Settles It.

Not So—That leaves nothing settled, based on whether I believe it or not.

God Said It.

THAT Settles It.

Will I open my eyes and believe it and obey.

ECONOMY UP – – – CHURCH [ATTENDANCE] DOWN

After 911, churches were full—for a short time.

Then we recovered—from both 911 and full churches.

America got back on our feet—and we didn’t need God so much anymore.

Congress sang “God Bless America” on the Capital steps—then the Democrat convention booed God, loudly.

The economy had a heart attack in 2008—and some reconsidered the “security” piled in their retirement savings portfolio.

Then experts and financial advisors figured out how to “fix” it and “prevent” it and make people believe it so we can’t get hurt again—and everybody jumped back into the American retirement dream.

Hard Times—Need God.

Good Times—Not So Much.

In God We Trust—God Bless America.

Undeniable ?

Or perhaps, more accurately:

In God We Trusted—God Blessed America.

Indisputable!

What about today?

Economy up, way up—Churches falling over each other like dominoes, waffling before the twisted distortions of lgbt, immigration, social pressure, and watering down the Word of God.

I say again, “It will get harder to be a Christian in America—but it will become easier to tell who is a Christian.”
