DOES GOD FIT ?

We are not called to make God fit anyone’s thinking, to make anybody comfortable.

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

“Do not fear—be strong and courageous.”
—–God, to Joshua, the new leader of Israel, after Moses

GREATEST OBSTACLE TO READING THE BIBLE

When you don’t ‘HAVE TO’ read the Bible.
When you aren’t serious, desperate for answers found only in the Bible.

SPARED FOR A PURPOSE

“I was saved by God to make America great again.
I believe that.”
—–President Donald Trump to joint session of Congress on March 4, 2025

SMELL TEST FOR THEOLOGY

— Does it come straight from the Bible ?
— Does it drive you to the Bible ?
— Does it make you want to tell someone about Jesus ?
— Does it help you talk about Jesus ?
— Does it bring new believers closer to Jesus ?
— Does it bring long-time believers closer to Jesus ?
— Does it require explanation by theologians ?

BORN AGAIN ?

“It’s impossible to be born again, if you are not concerned about the people around you.” [telling them about Jesus in your heart]
—–Abraham Hamilton III on afr

HOW DO I KNOW I’M SAVED ?

I know I’m not good enough.

I know I’m not good at all.

I know Jesus changed me.

Now I love to read the Bible.

Now I love to pray.

Now I want to talk about Jesus.

ENCOURAGING VIOLENCE

Unstable, unhinged, unAmerican perpetrators of increased violence today are encouraged, inspired, motivated, and supported by the increase of angry, inflammatory rhetoric by leaders on the left, including politicians.

The first step to curbing the increased violence is to curb the rhetoric that is becoming more common, and hold those accountable who are hiding in plain sight.

PALM SUNDAY

“This Holy Week, Christians around the World remember the Crucifixion of God’s Only Begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate His Glorious Resurrection and proclaim, as Christians have done for nearly 2000 years, ‘HE IS RISEN!’
Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, we saw God’s boundless Love and Devotion to all Humanity and, at that moment of His Resurrection, History was forever changed with the Promise of Everlasting Life.
As we approach this Joyous Easter Sunday, I want to wish Christians everywhere a Happy and very Blessed Holiday. America is a Nation of Believers. We need God, we want God and, with His help, we will make our Nation Stronger, Safer, Greater, more Prosperous, and more united than ever before. Thank You, and HAPPY EASTER!”

Well, that sounds like it could have come from Billy Graham or George Washington or Abraham Lincoln, or other Godly American leaders of the past.

Palm Sunday, 2025, President Donald Trump posted that on his platform, Truth Social.

– – –

There’s more.
This is Donald Trump’s Presidential Proclamation for Holy Week 2025:

“This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.
My Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government.
We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.”

Thank You, Jesus, for Your Resurrection—and for our resurrection !
And thank You for those words from President Trump.

TRADEOFFS
Is life a deal, a tradeoff—maneuvering to get the most of what you want while giving up the least to get it ?
What, or Who, are you dealing with, in life—in real life—in your life ?

or

CONSEQUENCES
Is life a choice, with consequences—finding what is most important—deciding to get what is most important, whatever it costs—accepting and living with the consequences—never looking back ?
What, or Who, are you choosing—always looking ahead—all the way ahead ?

– – –

What is the cost ?

What is the price ?
– of satisfaction ?
– of making money ?
– of getting rich ?
– of security ?
– of contentment ?
– of freedom ?
– of goals ?
– of accomplishment ?

What is the price ?
– of integrity ?
– of faithfulness ?
– of faith ?
– of love ?
– of relationships ?
– of happiness ?

– – –

What is your price ?

What will you pay ?

What will you give up ?

What will you sacrifice ?

What will you suffer ?

– – –

What do you want ?

What do you want most ?

What is life worth ?

What is your life worth ?

What is death worth ?

What is your death worth to someone ?

What is your death worth to you ?

– – –

What is life after death worth ?

What is life after death worth to you ?

– – –

What is the connection between–
— the price of life now ?
and
— the price of life after now ?

This was written with questions only, to get you to think—think first about your life, your ambitions, your pursuits—and not immediately react to my answers, or anybody else’s answers, to life.
If we cannot get an honest evaluation of our life, we will never make honest decisions that last.
