ALL RELIGIONS LEAD TO . . .

Everyone seems to have a religion.

We all have to believe in something.

And that has to be bigger than ourselves.

And that has to be more than what we can see.

Religion tries to meet that need to believe.

That much all religions have in common.

So people have created many religions.

Some say they are all basically alike.

That may appear true for time.

But after time, then what?

Where do religions lead?

All religions lead to god.

All religions lead to their god.

Some religions claim one god.

Some religions claim many gods.

All religions have things in common.

But not all religions can be true.

Back to the title above—

All religions lead to their gods.

Are there many gods, then?

No, there is one God.

There is one God, and we are accountable to Him.

There is one God, and He tells us everything we need to know about Him.

There is one God, and He made everything—obvious, if we look anywhere.

There is one God, and He came as Jesus to give us the truth, the only way.

There is one God, and He leads us to life in heaven with Him.

And that, my friends, is not religion, not one of many made by man.

All religions lead people to their gods.

All religions do have the same god—satan.

All religions do lead to the same place—hell.

Sadly, people seem to believe in anything, often disregarding the truth.

RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY?

Jesus’ strongest warnings drew parallels with Sodom and Gomorrah compared to certain cities of His day.  God does not forget.  Nor does He wink at America today.

Lot was “on the right side of history” in Sodom, for awhile.  He was welcomed in the city government, yet inside he was “vexed with the filthy lifestyle of Sodom.”

We can’t stop bad thoughts from flying across our mind, but we can stop them from building nests, especially in our mouth.

We can’t stop eating, but we can stop eating more than we need.

Likewise, spiritually:

It’s not how much Bible Study we consume, it’s how much we apply personally to our daily lives.

It’s pointless to keep refilling the tank without burning the fuel constructively.

Let us not allow building comfortable nests of complacency amidst our spiritual obesity.

It’s a consensus ! ?

They said it’s a fact—Global Cooling—Oops, make that Global Warming.

They said it’s a fact—Global Warming—Oops, make that Climate Change.

They said it’s a fact—Climate Change.

So BHOB* said it’s a fact—Climate Change.

Oops, just where is his science degree from?

Maybe that’s one executive order that really is above his pay grade.

“HE CAN’T DO THAT”

If you talk about a bully, and tell everyone you know, “He can’t do that,” it doesn’t mean he won’t do it anyway.

Even if you tell a bully to his face, “You can’t do that,” it doesn’t mean he won’t do it anyway.

If you tell everyone you know, “The ‘President’ can’t do that,” it doesn’t mean he won’t do it anyway (if it’s BHOB*).

Even if you tell the ‘President’ to his face, “You can’t do that,” it doesn’t mean he won’t do it anyway (if it’s BHOB*).

Just like words don’t (and won’t) stop Iran and the terrorists, in the same way words don’t (and won’t) stop BHOB*.

I wonder when all the good guys on our side will wake up to this fact.

 

As long as all commentary on the Administration in Washington is limited to words, it does no good.  And any day now, it will be too late.

As long as the only advice for action remains, “Get informed,” and “Get involved,” and is limited to words, BHOB* is unstoppable.

EVOLUTION? OR CHRISTIANITY?

Christianity is not compatible with evolution,

just like

Christianity is not compatible with abortion,

because

Christianity is not compatible with any changes to the Bible.

On evolution:

The Bible says God created every living thing reproducing “after its kind.”

On abortion:

The Bible says, “You shall not kill.”

When I taught fourth grade, I found that those students could understand the simple message of the Bible, and believe it.

And Jesus said, “Unless you come like a child, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

It is so simple.  Don’t miss it.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth”

. . . is always immediately countered with this quote from Proverbs . . .

“Go to the ant, you sluggard.”

I never hear a rebuttal after someone says the ant proves we should all save up for retirement.

Actually, the proverb about ants is directed to sluggards—lazy bums who refuse to work.

And, by the way, ants store up food for winter, not retirement.

If you really follow the Bible, you won’t even find retirement.
