Is there a conflict between Christianity and the world around us ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>YES<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incompatible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inevitable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unavoidable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guaranteed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus promised this conflict&#8212;He did not say to avoid it,<br>&#8220;The world will hate you for following Me&#8212;because it hated Me first.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Why would we experience this conflict, even such hatred ?<br>Must be because we are noticeably involved.<br>How ?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus&#8217; words again,<br>&#8220;You are the salt of the earth;<br>You are the light of the world.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The world is in darkness and infected with evil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Light is offensive to darkness !<br>Salt is offensive to infection !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christians are automatically offensive to the darkness of evil around us, if we are indeed shining Jesus&#8217; Light !<br>Christians are automatically offensive to the infection of evil around us, if we are indeed applying Jesus&#8217; Salt !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus followers must be so involved in shining His Light in the darkness around us, and applying His Salt to the infection around us, that we get a rise out of the other side.<br>Yes, a serious &#8216;rise&#8217;, hatred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus again,<br>&#8220;The one who kills you will think he is doing God (&#8216;god&#8217;) service.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you signed uo to follow Jesus ?<br>Do you really want to stay signed up to follow Jesus ?<br>&#8220;From that time on many of His disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8211; X&#8211; &#8220;Don&#8217;t mix religion and politics&#8221; ?
