in the stock market.<\/p>\n<p>Can we count on the future, in America?<\/p>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<p>Should we indeed &#8220;Eat, drink, and be merry; for tomorrow we . . .&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>We hear two perspectives about the future today, and a vital third is missing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ONE&#8212;The predominant perspective we hear today is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">promises<\/span>&#8212;promises that are supposed to give us hope&#8212;but promises that are not based on facts or reality&#8212;promises that still sway the masses and influence elections.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;It&#8217;s good to take the wealth and spread it around.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;We&#8217;ll get your education if you can&#8217;t afford it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;We&#8217;ll save your company (if . . . )<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;We&#8217;ll make everyone equal financially.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;We&#8217;ll take care of you from womb to tomb (and skip anything or everything in between&#8212;your choice?, our choice?)<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;We&#8217;ll make it a right for you to live any lifestyle you want, no matter what the consequences.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Promises<\/span> worked for one election.\u00a0 All it takes is one more.<\/p>\n<p>TWO&#8212;The second perspective, getting more widespread distribution every month, is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">facts<\/span>&#8212;facts that tell us we are going over the cliff&#8212;facts that tell us we are intentionally being led over the cliff&#8212;and facts that tell us we will soon be pushed over that cliff by the same leader.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; hates America.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; listened to his pastor for two decades, cursing America.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; chose terrorists and communists for lifetime mentors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; is purposely plunging the economy and the country over the limit with debt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; rejects our Judaeo-Christian foundation and heritage and embraces everything Muslim.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;The &#8220;leader&#8221; repeatedly and increasingly snubs our close ally, Israel.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Facts<\/span> have now armed many Americans.\u00a0 Will there be enough?<\/p>\n<p>THREE&#8212;The unheard third perspective includes <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">promises based on facts<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">plus action<\/span>&#8212;promises that last, on sure foundation&#8212;facts that have stood true for thousands of years&#8212;and hope in the middle of a call to action that will not be easy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;Benjamin Franklin said, &#8220;The longer I live, the more I am convinced that God governs in the affairs of men.\u00a0 If a sparrow cannot fall without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;John Adams said, &#8220;This government will only work for a moral people; it is totally unfit for any other.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;It worked, until now, for the above reasons.\u00a0 They acknowledged God, and every time Americans and American leaders turned to Him, He rescued us from crises, and prospered us.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8220;The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8220;I will bless them that bless you (Israel), and I will curse them that curse you.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8212;&#8211;His Book<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;And now, the rest of the quote in the title&#8212;the bottom line:\u00a0 &#8220;If the dead do not rise, &#8216;Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">promises<\/span> based on these <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">facts<\/span>, plus <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">action<\/span>, made America different.\u00a0 Will we turn back to faith and freedom, inseparable?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most of the world around us seems to live by that last part only (&#8220;eat and drink, for tomorrow we die&#8221;), because they have no lasting hope.\u00a0 Most people disregard the Bible and the God of the Bible.\u00a0 And that explains the mess we&#8217;re in.<\/p>\n<p>BUT GOD said there is hope for resurrection, because of Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Muslims hope for the return of their god if they kill themselves fighting us.<\/p>\n<p>Christians hope in the true Messiah&#8217;s return&#8212;and we have a directive to go about doing good in every way we can.\u00a0 And that includes standing against evil.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the future?\u00a0 Is there a future?\u00a0 They even call something &#8220;futures&#8221;
