While you\u2019re drinking, you don\u2019t care how big the hole gets because you\u2019re thirsty and the gushing water feels so good as it gets stronger. When your thirst is quenched and you see the damage and try to plug the hole, you can\u2019t do it&#8212;it\u2019s impossible. You can only watch the rest of the dam wash away. Then you have to rebuild the whole thing.
