Is it good to be desperate more than once, the one time when we understood our need for salvation ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is it an admission of weakness, to say we are desperate ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are we better off when we are desperate for Jesus ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll never know Jesus is all you need until you know Jesus is all you have.
You’ll never know Jesus is all you have until you are desperate to have Him close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all have as much of Jesus as we want.
How much of Jesus we want is determined by how desperate we are for Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does Jesus say in His Word about us, desperate for Him ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“When I am weak, then I am strong.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Call upon Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say, ‘I have no pleasure in them.'”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
