He was absolutely right—slavery or its abolition had to be decided one way or another, at all cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black people are humans equal to all other people, with equal rights—and our Constitution was amended to guarantee all rights to all Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
