{"id":6731,"date":"2024-07-24T20:13:31","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T01:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.awordforthought.com\/?p=6731"},"modified":"2024-07-27T13:08:07","modified_gmt":"2024-07-27T18:08:07","slug":"consequences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.awordforthought.com\/?p=6731","title":{"rendered":"CONSEQUENCES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If we face troubles in life through no fault of our own, just by living in this world&#8212;how can we expect to be exempt from consequences when we go against God&#8217;s laws ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to think we&#8217;re good, and we don&#8217;t want to pay when we do wrong&#8212;we want to be excused because we&#8217;re pretty good usually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are there any laws in the universe that change, ever&#8212;much less, by our wishes or our influence ?<br>We can&#8217;t change day and night, summer and winter, sunshine and rain, smooth sailing and stormy weather.<br>Belief in man-made climate change says we are greater than God, Who runs everything He made, and He sets the patterns of hot and cold, and everything else.<br>You can count on this:  Advocates for extreme measures to address climate change don&#8217;t believe God is in charge of this world, and certainly not in charge of their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, we can mess up a small portion of God&#8217;s creation, and we can fix it, but we&#8217;re just not that big to do much.<br>And any basics of logic will see through the agenda of those trying to change our lives to &#8216;save the planet&#8217;&#8212;they don&#8217;t care about the environment&#8212;they only care about power, and anything they can use to gain more power, world power, world control, world government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And all of their agenda, including their promises, will make life very bad for us and take away our freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequences ?<br>One to avoid is following false ideas that are proven to not work, and enslave people.<br>That is happening in our world today, and in our country.<br>Especially beware of what is smoothly pushed by the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; &#8211; &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now, the most important&#8212;<br>If we claim that man is greater than the laws God made in nature, then we also believe we are greater than the laws He made in spiritual matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;All have sinned and fall short of God&#8217;s glory.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The soul that sins will die.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is appointed to man to die once, and after that the judgment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;That life is in His Son, Jesus.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;There is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;God loved the world so much that He gave us His only Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him doesn&#8217;t have to go to hell, but have eternal life in heaven.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequences of not believing in Jesus are far greater than anything we could possibly do to harm the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Also read on this site, SUFFERING FROM SIN \u2013 AND \u2013 REPERCUSSIONS FROM REPENTANCE)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If we face troubles in life through no fault of our own, just by living in this world&#8212;how can we expect to be exempt from consequences when we go against God&#8217;s laws ?
