Observing Christian financial advice for many decades, some things become clear to me, as they were clear to Daddy over half a century ago, for the rest of his life.
I see a pattern of sharing solid, Biblical principles and verses first, like a tithe of time to God’s Word.
Then it seems business as usual, advising to make more money – – – according to . . . ?
. . . mostly according to the principles of the American economy, not so much the blanket warnings of Jesus about our money telling where our heart is.

The counsel seems to say that His words, “Where your treasure is, your heart will be also”, do not apply if we keep our heart in the right place, no matter how much money we have stashed “for many years”, and seeking more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does ‘sacrifice’ enter the conversations\/advice about money, with those who have considerable amounts of it ?*
Is it not true that those who have much money can be most readily advised how to make more ?

How much do we need ?
The people who have a lot, talk and live like they need a lot for ‘someday’.
“Do you need this saved money to live on, or just want to see it grow?” (Many times the answer is no—don’t need it to live on.)
What about giving it away ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to the word ‘sacrifice’.*
What about giving it away—WHETHER YOU HAVE A LOT OR A LITTLE ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
