How many times have we heard the warnings—the patterns, the side effects, the traps, the dangers, the hazards, the theft, the down side, the pitfalls, the prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How many of us plunge ahead, in spite of the warnings, with no change in our daily pattern of usage, consumption, dependence, loyalty—believing superiority over negative effects, saying, “I can handle it.” and thinking, “It won’t affect me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I was with you in person, I would pause and see how long it takes you to guess what I’m talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I gave the ‘answer’ later on this site, you would read that post before this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oh well, I’m talking about social media, and much of the internet in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While writing this on my phone, my son sent two links to the parallel, modern dilemma in the food industry.
In recent decades our food supply through the grocery stores has become saturated with unnatural and unhealthy additives and treatments that seriously jeopardize our well-being.
We hear occasional reports about specific, harmful ingredients and preservatives, and we are alarmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then most of us plunge ahead and buy what is available and what we can afford and what we have time for.
