—volatile (if you mess with Texas, you may wish you hadn’t)<\/p>\n

Okay, I could easily go on with more adjectives, because I believe in them personally.\u00a0 But let me tell you what prompted the list.\u00a0 I here make an apology to all who did not hear my severe mis-statement about Texas yesterday.\u00a0 My friend nailed me for accidentally saying “ordinary Texan” in a conversation about my loyalty to Texas.\u00a0 I promise I will never make that mistake again.<\/p>\n
Now, back to the list.\u00a0 I do not need to make the list complete, or even add to it.\u00a0 In fact, we don’t need that list altogether.\u00a0 Truth is, ” T E X A N ”\u00a0 stands alone, speaks for itself, needs no adjective.<\/p>\n
Several months ago I wrote about the various words to describe politicians, and they are many and colorful.\u00a0 But no one ever puts an adjective in front of\u00a0 “statesman.”<\/p>\n
