Every teacher, every preacher, every theologian, every writer, every . . . faces the connection between well-worded explanations to help others, and personally getting closer to Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God uses words to reach us and lead us and guide us and grow us.
He uses The Word, He is The Word, and His Word has power.
It is The Sword of the Spirit, and we must use it—effective only when drawn in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A reminder to all of us—the more we ‘know,’ the greater the potential risk to dispense verses and ‘wisdom,’ and miss relationships (with others and our own with God).
“Remember, whenever you are answering someone’s sincere question, you are not answering a question, you are answering a person.”—–<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was led to write this by the reminder of WORDS hanging in my bathroom:
“Be Still, And Know That I Am God.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Time to remember what we “Know.”
Time to “Be Still.”
