I learned some time ago to thank God for slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whenever I say that to people, they get it.
You could easily expound on the obvious, like slow beats the alternative as you get older.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But just “be thankful for slow” is sufficient food for thought, standing alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then there are days like the first part of this week.
My van quit on the way to look at a job that I needed now.
It took two more days, identifying two problems, fixing two problems, including waiting for parts.
It prompted an addition to the above saying about slow, and people seem to get it as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m learning to “BE REAL THANKFUL<\/span> FOR REAL SLOW<\/span>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n *Note the reality oxymoron for seniors—HURRY UP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I learned some time ago to thank God for slow.
