Late in the day a ship flashed the message, &#8220;Wellington defeated,&#8221; and fog rolled in.  All was lost, until the fog lifted, and the complete message came from the flashing light, &#8220;Wellington defeated the enemy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>England, and the world, again hung in the balance during WWII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The furor, the all-consuming rage, of The Fuhrer of Nazism sent fear throughout Germany, Europe, and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we were on God&#8217;s side then, and the furor of God was with us, against the furor of hell unleashed&#8212;and we defeated the enemy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not so today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a difference a word can make, or a simple play on words.
