Promises—so what are we<\/span> supposed to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Be still – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – and know that I am God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Humble yourselves – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – and He will exalt you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Cast all your care on Him – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – for He cares for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Call upon Me in the day of trouble – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – I will deliver you. (Remember—and you will glorify Me.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+(1) Trust in the Lord with all your heart – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+(2) Do not lean on your own understanding – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+(3) In all your ways acknowledge Him – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – and He will direct your paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Draw near to God – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – and He will draw near to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Resist the devil – – –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– – – and he will flee from you. (That means draw near to God first—then resist the devil successfully.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally—just a fact, to accept—<\/p>\n\n\n\n

+Many are the afflictions of the righteous<\/p>\n\n\n\n
