{"id":3510,"date":"2017-11-29T14:54:20","date_gmt":"2017-11-29T20:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.awordforthought.com\/?p=3510"},"modified":"2017-11-29T14:58:26","modified_gmt":"2017-11-29T20:58:26","slug":"justice-vs-compassion-by-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.awordforthought.com\/?p=3510","title":{"rendered":"JUSTICE  vs  COMPASSION &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; BY GOD ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever we run into ants in our yard or house, we immediately proceed to eliminate them, without a second thought or feeling about their welfare&#8212;justified.<\/p>\n<p>Now consider the story of a colony of ants making a path across a busy wagon trail.<\/p>\n<p>Every time a wagon passed, dozens of ants were wiped out, and they had to repair their path across the new track.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine a person stopping to watch, and feeling sorry for the ants&#8217; situation.<\/p>\n<p>He wanted to explain to the ants that they needed a better plan, for survival.<\/p>\n<p>He realized the only way to communicate with the ants and help them, was to become an ant.<\/p>\n<p>There were two major risks in becoming an ant.<\/p>\n<p>One, they might not listen to his plan.<\/p>\n<p>Two, as an ant his very life would be in danger from the wagons.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out, both happened, ending in disaster.<\/p>\n<p>The ants did not want to listen, and they threw him under the next wagon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Justice&#8212;you don&#8217;t care<\/p>\n<p>Sympathy&#8212;you care<\/p>\n<p>Compassion&#8212;you act<\/p>\n<p>Sacrifice&#8212;you suffer<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>God Cared<\/p>\n<p>God Acted<\/p>\n<p>God Suffered<\/p>\n<p>God Died<\/p>\n<p>All for you, and me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;God so loved . . .&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever we run into ants in our yard or house, we immediately proceed to eliminate them, without a second thought or feeling about their welfare&#8212;justified.
