Here is advice I gave to my son and daughter-in-law:<\/p>\n<p>Four things your children need to see you doing every day (or at least become aware that you are doing every day).<\/p>\n<p>One&#8212;Laughing heartily, spontaneously, along with being silly and just having fun. If we don&#8217;t act crazy sometimes, we all go crazy, regardless of our IQ.<\/p>\n<p>Two&#8212;Reading your Bible<\/p>\n<p>Three&#8212;Praying. Children seeing parents on their knees has greater lifelong impact than anything else in their life.<\/p>\n<p>Four&#8212;Showing lavish affection on each other and on the children.
