How in the world could a tornado on the ground 1 1\/2 hours last night in Kansas destroy 25 homes, with no reported deaths, or injuries?<\/p>\n
It requires three things—three explanations.<\/p>\n
One—better technology to warn people in danger, in time to take protective action to save lives.<\/p>\n
Two—better preparation by people to save their lives, building storm shelters and developing emergency plans to implement quickly.<\/p>\n
Three—the grace of God, especially when everyone prays as a tornado bears down on them.<\/p>\n
We all consider it so logical to have storm shelters in tornado zones, and use them.<\/p>\n
I too am greatly relieved since I built one, and no one has ever been critical about that.<\/p>\n
When Israelis frequently use their bomb shelters these days, no one thinks that is foolish.<\/p>\n
Yet somehow Americans think, that is fine for those in the mideast turmoil, but not for us.<\/p>\n
Prepare for tornadoes or hurricanes—fine.<\/p>\n
Prep(are) for EMP or electric grid failure—extreme, eccentric, unrealistic, impractical, inconvenient, unattractive, expensive, impossible, unpopular, and “I’m too busy.”<\/p>\n
Go to work, eat, pay bills, make investments, watch TV, listen to the biased media, go to bed, hope our way of life lasts another day.<\/p>\n
More and more people are aware that life as we know it cannot go on much longer without some dramatic change.<\/p>\n
There is a tension—anxiety—in the air that cannot be held back forever by simply not thinking about it or not talking about it or not doing anything about it.<\/p>\n
Busy has served Americans well, and it helps some.<\/p>\n
But simply staying busy without preparing for known dangers is unwise, and fatal.<\/p>\n
PREP = PREPARE<\/p>\n
Eliminate the stigma in your thinking.<\/p>\n
Prepare for the catastrophe that is very likely to come long before your retirement (that all good Americans prepare for and slave for).<\/p>\n
