Is it possible to suffer from malnutrition while having plenty to eat?<\/p>\n
Taking this to the extreme, is it possible to starve even with a full stomach?<\/p>\n
My dad often quoted someone who said, “It is not how much you eat that makes you strong; it is how much you properly digest.”<\/p>\n
Back to the first question:<\/p>\n
Is it possible to have famine in a land of plenty?<\/p>\n
Did you ever get so busy, so wrapped up in something, or so worried, that you failed to eat and got sick?<\/p>\n
If you ignore your basic needs and basic health, it can kill you.<\/p>\n
And now, my point—<\/p>\n
“Behold, the days come, says the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.”<\/p>\n
Plenty of Bibles, but a famine of “hearing” the Word.<\/p>\n
