and I have made some of them myself.\u00a0 I am especially distraught when prominent leaders and influential talk show hosts respond to questions and suggestions for action, with naysaying, instead of launching campaigns to make the hard things happen.\u00a0 Doing hard things got us here.\u00a0 I hate to think that laziness and lack of drive are bringing this country down.\u00a0 And our enemies are all too ready to capitalize on our apathy.<\/p>\n<p>1)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to impeach the President, because there isn&#8217;t enough momentum to follow it through, because the Senate is controlled by his party.\u00a0 I say, but the House isn&#8217;t, and that&#8217;s where impeachment happens.\u00a0 So, what are we waiting for, if Benghazi (etc.) isn&#8217;t enough.<\/p>\n<p>2)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to get rid of bad judges, so we don&#8217;t even try.\u00a0 I say, it has worked at the state level, and it&#8217;s provided in the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>3)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to stop executive orders.\u00a0 I say, I don&#8217;t believe it.<\/p>\n<p>4)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard and takes too long to become energy independent.\u00a0 I say, the first time we heard that was a long time ago.\u00a0 So there!\u00a0 It&#8217;s just a matter of will, to force the Keystone Pipeline, for example.\u00a0 It&#8217;s definitely a matter of national security, and all kinds of things get done under pressure of national security.<\/p>\n<p>5)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to get Christians to vote, and we know they could sway elections.\u00a0 I say, actually, it&#8217;s too hard to get preachers involved and sticking their necks out for freedom and Biblical values.\u00a0 The price of liberty and the price of Christianity have been lost in the pulpit, and therefore in the pew.<\/p>\n<p>6)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to contact politicians, because we are too busy, because we say they won&#8217;t listen.\u00a0 I say, do it anyway, until they listen.<\/p>\n<p>7)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to sign petitions, because we fear being on a hit list.\u00a0 I say, sign them.\u00a0 Choose:\u00a0 safety&#8212;or freedom.<\/p>\n<p>8)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to write this article, because it takes time, and energy, and I lost my notes.\u00a0 I say, yes, it does cost me every time I write.\u00a0\u00a0 But I am compelled to do so, over and over again.<\/p>\n<p>9)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to keep trying to change culture, when you don&#8217;t know if you&#8217;re making a difference.\u00a0 I say, I don&#8217;t know, but I believe it will make a difference, even if I can&#8217;t see it now.<\/p>\n<p>10)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to open the Bible.\u00a0 Many don&#8217;t believe it, many don&#8217;t want to hear it, many don&#8217;t want to understand it, and it takes time.\u00a0 Question:\u00a0 Where do you expect to get direction you can count on for days like this?\u00a0 I say, I can&#8217;t live a day without it.<\/p>\n<p>11)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard too kneel before I stand every morning, and it&#8217;s too hard to kneel before I lie down every night.\u00a0 Really?\u00a0 Have you actually ever tried kneeling to pray regularly?\u00a0 &#8220;You have not because you ask not.&#8221;\u00a0 I say, it is hard to kneel and pray and shut everything out, but it has become essential for me.<\/p>\n<p>12)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to exercise&#8212;my body, my mind, my faith, my freedom, my influence, my passion, my generosity, my involvement.\u00a0 I say, I am not a shining example of consistent self-discipline,\u00a0 but if we have no weakness to overcome, we may never be overcomers that understand how to help someone else overcome their weakness.<\/p>\n<p>13)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to try to change the world, because it&#8217;s hard enough just making ends meet for my own family.\u00a0 I say, it&#8217;s going to get harder, so whatever you&#8217;re going to do that really counts, do it now.<\/p>\n<p>14)\u00a0 It&#8217;s too hard to think of facing persecution&#8212;especially in America.\u00a0 Do you believe in Jesus and follow Him?\u00a0 You may have time to answer that, or you may have only a moment in time.\u00a0 Your answer <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">may<\/span> determine how long you live, and how you will live.\u00a0 Your answer <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">will<\/span> determine where you will live, after.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have heard too many of the following statements of &#8220;It&#8217;s Too Hard,&#8221;
